We were gonna watch it in school and we were using the only TV the school had (Very VERY poor elementary school). Three minutes into the movie and the VCR ate the tape. It then began to smoke.

Never watched another movie in class again.

In middle school our TV sorta made this high-pitched whistling noise during Anger Management and then proceeded to blow up. I began to wonder if it was the same TV from the hungry VCR.

They almost shut down that middle school due to budget cuts this year. The community put a stop to it.

Damn. Yeah the education situation where I live is going down the shitter too. They keep closing schools and making kids pile into one which is horribly overcrowded and understaffed.

People put so much stock into getting an education. To get a job at a McDonald's or other fast food restaurant here, you need, or need to be acquiring, a high school diploma. However, shutting down schools and understaffing makes it hard for the strugglers to remain in school, or remain interested enough to attempt finishing.
