It's not logic or philosophic. It's an OPTICAL illusion (tricks your eyes/brain).

The original just had the one in the middle. It either went right or left, depending on whether you were using the right or left side of your brain. Only 15 percent of americans could make it go both ways, me being one of them. This one goes different to anybody because your artistic left side shows when you look at the coloured one, and the right brain side shows when you look at the middle. (waits for cool story bro.)
