Thing with american medicine is that you truly do get what you pay for. Sure it's expensive, but there's a reason people go there for treatments.

The American economy during the 50's and 60's encouraged all of the drug companies to go and develop, and now their roots are deep enough that they're not leaving any time soon. Not to mention many important procedures were pioneered and flourished in america. It's the place to be for medicine

1.) It is still unreasonable expensive, unless you get a frigging hip made of gold there is no reason for this price.
2.) It is Spain, not ************* . Their medical system is not worse than Americas.
3.) More expensive =/= Always better

Except then insurance companies raise your fees and start getting in legal disputes with hospitals. Then when hospitals lose in court, they jack the prices up even more. And the cycle starts anew again.
And no one gives a flying **** since your organizations and committees for regulating stuff like this are a ******* joke. How the hell does a country even function with so much decentralized, unregulated organizations? Case in points, the recent NSA debacle.

>Vasectomy w/ insurance $1200
>Vasectomy w/o insurance paid in cash $650
>Sperm count w/ insurance $200
>Sperm count w/o insurance paid in cash $105

What's killing American medical is government intervention that has broken down the free market for health care so insurance companies are negotiators for every small medical expense instead of the protectors of catastrophes like they should be.

A simply, polarizing answer to an otherwise very complex issue? Not on my Funnyjunk.

To be honest I don't think your insurance would cover that.

These costs are complete ******** . The cost of surgery in the US is like 5-10x more expensive then in Europe. And thats not what we have to pay but the totalcost, insurance covers pretty much everything.

This may be the cost before insurance. After insurance I pretty sure you will end up paying around 7500-10K.
