Alright seems like a good place to post this. Why doesn't admin implement a system to where it stops something from being posted twice in our new posts. I know the majority of the people on this site like old posts, so they like to see reposts every now and again. That's not a bad thing, but it doesn't need to be posted twice. We have an archive on this site of all the posts that been posted. Everyone who loves to see old posts they've seen before can go there to look at them. Why the **** do we even have an archive of posts on this site if we don't even use it? What about the new people you say? They can go to the archive too! I'm saying this because in the future you're gonna get tired of those reposts too and eventually leave the site, I know hundreds have already done so because of it. I enjoy this site, but with our front page almost always consisting of reposts, I get bored of it. If this gets positive votes I'll start posting it on other posts untill it get noticed.

That's pretty ******* stupid. We had that before and it was dumb as.
Nobody is going to go looking through archives for things to post, and eventually we just end up with ****** ragecomics on the front page.

Then why do we have an archive?

We actually used to have that system, back in the day. However, a huge problem with it was you would try to upload a photo, and it would get blocked because someone else had uploaded it 6-7 months ago. It doesn't matter if it only got 3 thumbs and 2000 views, it would still be flagged for all time, basically. Then, people would do **** to get around it, like cutting off edges or filling in little black dots to throw off the image recognizer. It was easy to get around, and the quality of FJ was going downhill. It was going on for quite awhile, but a lot of people were happy when it was finally over.

Then why don't we have him improve it by making it have to get to the front page first before it be blocked from reupload. Or a repost page similar to the newest uploads or front page. We gotta get him to at least try and experiment with it before everybody leaves and the site dies.

It would only cut those reposts down to about 60-70%. Not even by half. Then, all those ones that are still being madly posted are now also **** quality, like I said. Edges cut off, random black bars/dots through the post. **** like that.

I saw your post, and noticed you possibly had trouble finding a word for an adjective of ambiguity. Perhaps you can try "any" "somewhat" "anywhere near" or "a bit". Good day!

I used "anywhat" in a correct sense.

Even so, people have the right to criticize. This site costs a lot of money to run too, if everyone that was disheartened with the direction of the website "just left", the site would collapse. Airing grievances isn't a bad thing, but telling people to leave when they disagree with what's happening is just silly.

Them whining hurts the site more than them staying helps it, it just pisses people of and buzzkills causing people to get bored with the site.

Of course, but it doesn't qualify as content.

Occasionally, someone comes with a good idea, but usually it's just whining over a minor change, and I'm here for the content and the community.
