One of my history teachers did an entire quarter each school year in which it was known as the red scare. To learn more about the cold war he set us up in an environment that they would have been in. he secretly designated 6 kids in the class to be spies. not even the spies knew they were. you weren't allowed to talk to each other in class, and outside of class if you are caught talking to a spy you get an automatic failing grade. this gave you the feeling that anyone could be a russian agent and you wouldn't know. and built up a distrust in those you thought friends. I actually covered my test answers even from him until I handed it in. just to go the extra mile. going that far ended up saving my grade after I said "bless you" to a spy...
