Hey guys, looking for the best way to lose some stomach fat. I'm 18, a guy, and I'm looking for away to lose some of the fat covering my abs. I'm not fat or anything, 150lbs, just looking to get more definition. Any suggestions, shoot them my way.
P.S. running 10 miles a day, weight lifting, about 140 push ups and 200 sit ups (all weight training and pushups/situps are on an every other day pattern; weight training one day, pushups and situps the next including different weights and number of reps). I've also been eating less fatty foods and a bit more protein but not seeing a while lot of a difference.

If you are willing to spend money Insanity worked very well for me. I didn't follow the meal plan and it still worked great, but you should probably follow it if you do it for max results. Also switch up your workouts. Abdominal workouts will not give you abs, diet and cardio are key factors.

Okay, first, stop running 10 miles a day thats wayyyy too much for your body to handle. Thats doing more bad than good. You need to alternate your distances every day much like a weight lifting regiment. If you want to tone your abs and your obliques then these workouts are fantastic.
(Diet is everything, if youre eating like shit, then your muscles and organs wont have anything to feed off of, so having a poor diet will make any workout pointless)
1. Scissor Kicks (60 reps, 30 kicks each leg)
2. Hello Dolly's (60 reps)
3. Leg raises (100 reps)
4. Bicycle Kicks (100 reps, 50 kicks each leg)
5. Situps (as many as you can in two minutes)
6. Isometric 6 inches toning (two to three sets of holding for 30 seconds)
This will cut you up real fast. Do these on tuesdays and thursdays, and only weight lift three times a week. The only additional ab workout you want to do on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays is cable crunches, if you dont know what any of these workouts are then you can consult youtube or google. The Marines do these and its proven to work.

Just replying to correct one litte thing, unless you are really out of shape, your body should be able to handle running 10 miles a day (I aim for about 7). But other than that, those are all great workouts, and that is all correct.

Thank you sir. The only reason I say its bad for you is because alternating distances is better for you. Like 3 miles, 5 miles, 7 miles, 9 miles, 10 miles, then rest on weekend. 10 miles isnt bad for you automatically, but running 10 miles every day wont lose as much fat as you could, or tone as much as you could because your body will gain a tolerance for it.
Alright, yeah I don't run 10 miles everyday, probably 2 days a week, the other days I do interval running for 2 miles max. 10 miles is fairly easy for me, I usually split it into 3 sessions during the day (2, 4, 4 miles). Sundays are my rest days.
Sounds great, that regimen sounds kickass man. Thanks a ton guys.

Leg lifts, abcoaster (This thing is great, though I should really stop mentioning it.), other wise, running is great for your core, and you would be surprised at how fat the fat around your stomach will go away. Also hit your local gym, they (most likely) will have an ab area for working your abs. WARNING! Also work your back, if you only work your abs, it will hunch you over, and could cause back problems later in life. Do things like rowing machines, and special machines that are made for working your back. Overall, what you said sounds great, and if you continue, you will be in great shape in about 4-5 weeks.
I've been doing a shit ton of situps and leg lifts trying to get that lower belly fat to go away for about a month. I was looking at the abcoaster, but don't have the money for one right now (is it really that great?). My back is actually fairly ripped, it's probably the most defined part of my body, excluding my hereditary love handles...which is another thing I would like to get rid of, but I'm assuming they'll go away or get smaller with the running. Been doing situps to target my obliques as well, but can't say it's doing much.
The abcoaster is really amazing, I just bought one, and it is a fun workout. If you don't see changes now, you will at least notice the difference. When you go to pick something up (or other everyday things) you will start to notice that it is a lot easier, and you are getting better at doing it. Trust me.
