So I'm trying to become a lot more fit in general since the start of this college year. I run every second day, gradually more each time I run, not entirely sure about the distance though, but I reckon it's at least a mile, mile and a half(Only started about 3 weeks ago.) and I also Cycle to college 3 days a week(12 Miles there and back) and I'm going to be doing weights etc as well to beef my arms up a bit. And I'm wondering if I should be running every day instead of every second day and obviously doing more and more each day. My problem is not really knowing what to do or how much to do it.
Cheers in advance.

If you're eating enough to have a caloric surplus and do all that every day then go for it.
People always mention "overtraining" but most of them don't realize what it really takes to get to that point. And believe me, the chance that any of exercises THAT much is pretty much 0.

That last part could be due to forgetting to breathe. I know it sounds silly but it has happened to me with deadlifts; when I was getting used to the proper form and thinking about every movement I was doing I would often find myself not breathing as often as I should.
tl;dr breathe in while going down, out while going up.
