hey i am about 5'10", and around 150-160 something like that (can't remember from last weigh in), and i have a little problem. i bike a pretty good amount, from 5 - 10 miles every day, but all i really am trying to lose is my freakin' muffintop. i have been doing this all summer since back in june and on weekends before that, but no matter what it seems like it won't get smaller.

up your amount of biking 5-10 miles is not far enough to burn fat. You should aim for 2 2hour sessions on the bike a week

Try some weight training. Cardio such as biking is good for starting out when losing weight, but eventually your body will plateau. Lifting weights will help you tone up and get rid of that extra fat.

Sources: Been there, done that.

If you have been doing it for so long without seeing any changes it's obvious you have to make some yourself.

Change your diet (reduce your calories) and/or increase your exercise (try doing High Intensity Interval Training while you're out biking).

i'm already on a diet (a weight loss shake for breakfast, usually something low calorie for lunch and something medium for dinner) and how can i do high intensity interval training.

Alternate between intervals (of 30 seconds) of very high intensity (90-95% of your maximum heart rate; Subtract your age from 220 and then take the percentage from that number) and moderate intensity (60-70%)

You don't have to be completely accurate with the heart rate if you don't have a portable monitor; just go all out for 30 seconds and then go at a moderate pace for 30 seconds. Rinse and repeat for however long you like/can. Usually 20-30 minutes is more than enough.

Make that just 90 instead of 90-95%
