I haven't lifted weights in a year, so yesterday I decided to try again. I started easy, 30 reps with 30 pounds. Well afterwards my arms hurt a little, but I figured that was normal. An hour later my arms still hurt and I couldn't keep them straight. By the end of the day the pain was worse and I still couldn't keep my arms straight. So I went to bed and when I woke up my arms still hurt, and I still can't keep them straight.
Did I pull a muscle or what?

coloredfolks is correct; you didn't pull a muscle, you didn't get an injury. That's normal when lifting weights, specially since you hadn't done so in a year. The first week/time you work out a muscle is the worst. After that it shouldn't hurt for more than one or two days.
Try to keep blood flowing into your muscles (move them, don't stay still for too long or it will take longer for the pain to go away). Massage your arms, it'll hurt like hell but it helps on the long run.

no you didnt do anything except actually lift and build muscle. you said you havent lifed in a year so when you came back and did it its gonna hurt.
lifting weights is actually tearing your muscles and building them back bigger.
so you will hurt for about half a week maybe more since you are a newfag. keep lifting and you'll be just fine. try something else besides bicep curls
