OK fitness fags i have a question, i work out 4-5 times a week and run regularly don't smoke and am able to run a mile and a half in under 9 minutes. For the past few days i have been going on runs and have been having bad chest pains and i can taste blood when i run does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? i can now only run for about 8 minutes before i have to stop.
I'm no doctor, but that sounds an awful lot like you either breathe with your mouth open or run when the air is too dry/cold.
Your respiratory system could be really dried out. Take a few days off, drink lots of water and try to figure out which of my two hypothesis is correct (if any) and fix it.
If you don't get any better in two or three days or start getting worse go to a doctor; chest pains are something you don't want to play around with.

you could did you get hit by something, you could have ruptured something, or you could have heart problems that are causing this, or your esophagus could be cut or burned if you have gastric reflex (heart burn) i suggest you either go to a doctor or take a weeks rest

hmm might be possible, I've experienced pains in the right side of my chest that last a couple of days then just go away, they don't give me any major problems (that i've noticed) but I put them down to chest infections. Just remember you've always got a doctor to go to pal, take it easy!
