The fuel doesn't actually explode. It burns at about 20 m/s.

Engine knock is what happens when the fuel explodes, and destroys engines very quickly.

Yeah, but since it's an airbag, I would call it an airbag.
The Mercedes SLS AMG has exploding bolts in the gullwing doors, so the passengers can get out safely in the case of an accident where the car rolls onto the roof, but I wouldn't call it "explosive-bolts-that-release-the-gullwing-doors"
