Being equal doesn't mean you can't be different. Being equal means you won't be treated better or worse just for being different.
Being equal doesn't mean you are as good as anyone in any skill. Being equal means that those who have the skill should be able to get the job, in spite of his/her sexual orientation, skin colour, ethnicity etc.
Being equal is the freedom to be whatever you want/can, not being something because someone else wants to be something they want.
We can never be truly equal, nor can society be ever perfect, but we can always try to make this world a better place for the outcasts and oppressed.

JAYSUS! I didn't believe my comment was gonna get that much publicity.
As for the people who say that some votes should have a greater impact in democratic elections than others, I ask you this: How are you going to decide whose vote should be stronger? Give the power to the people who have greater education? The people with higher IQ? The people with high status?
No one can tell by looking at any traits in any human what consequences their decisions may have. High IQ doesn't mean you know how to act in making a real life decision. When voting, we can only hope that the result of making our choice will be for the greater good.
True, there are "dumb" people choosing from options they can hardly understand, but where are you going to draw the line?
NO! YOU can't draw a line!
Why should YOUR voice be better?!! Is it because YOU think you're right?!

Equality is stupid.
Some people are better at a job, they should get it.
It's ridiculous to give the same odds of hiring a sociopathic, necrophiliac, rapist as a paramedic as a fit, healthy doctor with qualifications.
Some people are lower, some people are higher. Deal with it.

No, you shouldn't give the job to a person who clearly has mental problems and may prove to be a safety risk for the work place. Being a necrophiliac is as much a mental problem as being a homosexual is. You don't see homosexual banging every man (or a woman if you're a lesbian) they see on the streets, so why would a mentally healthy necrophiliac do it to every corpse they see?
Rapists, on the other hand, can't control their desires and danger for a work place with potential victims.
On the top of all, I never said that everybody should get the job. As a matter of fact I said the exact opposite. Those who have the needed skills and traits should get the job, in spite of the traits they have that have nothing to do with the job, like skin colour, ethnicity etc.

But we should have a ranking or something like that, to rate every person.
And for example <10 not even to ride a Bike should be allowed etc...
But for this we need a fair Test to get the Points you deserve!

Yeah, intelligence and capabilities vary in different people, putting people in slots is the exact opposite of making the world an equal place. As people change all the time, those points are bound to change with them, thus we cannot just categorize people based on what we have tested in the past events.

Get tricked by idiotic campaign ads into voting from someone that will screw them over.

There are vast numbers of studies that show that these ads work.
Letting ignorant people's votes count the same as others is the epitome of ignorance.

what is considered a "stupid" vote anyway? whats to say which opinion is the most right? this is why you have elections and such in the first place, so that the masses can unite under what they think is the most right, if you start taking away liberties except for the people who you consider thinks "right" its not even a choice at all, its favoritism for one opinion

how? i think that everyone should be granted the same chances regardless of where they come from.
being treated equal doesnt mean you dont have to prove yourself, it doesnt mean you get everything handed to you on a silverplatter.
it means that you all get to take the same test, it means you all get to try, some will be better and some will be worse, the better will succeed and the worse will fail, but atleast it will be fair

You always hear a ton of **** about people complaining about those who don't vote.
But what is even worse are those that vote when they are completely uninformed.
You're talking about favoritism, but that is inaccurate.
People that do not know how to drive cannot get a license, people that are not lawyers cannot give legal advice, people that are not doctors cannot perform medical procedures.
Your ideas about equality are completely unrealistic and juvenile.

what i meant was that since everyone has to prove the same thing, no one gets those special priveleges you spoke of before, no one is worth more than anyone else, its just you having to study a bit in order to understand politics before getting to vote.
everyone is treated equally in such a case and they all have to same opportunities, no one is looked down upon

How would you choose who's votes should have greater impact on the results? Yes, people make bad decisions, but it isn't directly proportional to the amount of education one has had. Where do you draw the line between dumb and smart people? You don't.
Maybe the rank of one's vote should be measured by their social values? Would you give more weight to someone's vote who value market economy over ecological sustainability or the person with opposite values? To one who values different things than the other, the latter's decisions may seem dumb, when in fact both are probably doing their best to choose the best alternative for their own values.
