>Implying there's any unbiased news station.

Hell, even CNN has some pretty bad bias.
User avatar #243 to #11 - theshadowed (12/09/2013) [-]
I'd say the BBC

Wasn't there some woman who left CNN because she discovered bribery?

I'm not taking sides. I know FOX is just as inaccurate and corrupt as CNN or NBC. Probably more.

I know tons of companies and even the government bribe news sources. It's common knowledge.

PBS is pretty Unbiased. They lean a little left occasionally.
User avatar #284 to #207 - Logicaltightrope (12/09/2013) [-]
PBS? Are you ******* kidding me?

Lol jk, i don't know anything, I just assume it's biased as hell in order to receive subsidies from the current regime.
User avatar #185 to #11 - mitchr (12/09/2013) [-]
Comedy Central.

Pointing out the dumbassery of all fairly.
Probably leans left a bit, but less so than anybody else.

Fox is continually the most misinforming news station on air, they stretch the news farther than any other network and give the most ************* interviews and commentaries.

*in the US.

First time I went to the US and stayed there for a week, the most surprising thing was not the quick access to fast-food places for breakfast, brunch and inner, or the sport-culture that was so different from my own, or how the streets were and how the household-style was.

It was how it felt to turn on the news. Suddenly you start to realize a little bit more of how America really is.

>even CNN
***** CNN is pretty much the top source for sensationalist and patriotic ******** .

Picture related: The news station that is much worse than CNN.
User avatar #239 to #87 - yuukoku (12/09/2013) [-]
No, no. CNN and Fox are both pretty bad. CNN won't report on **** that hurts them and Fox won't report on anything that agrees with CNN.
User avatar #24 to #11 - failtolawl ONLINE (12/08/2013) [-]
so the only argument against fox news being biased is that others are too? So what, we just let them both be biased and move on? There are a dangerous amount of people that think fox news is the know all absolute only trustworthy newssource, hence why bumper stickers that say "don't trust the liberal media" are seen everywhere.
#32 to #24 - anonymous (12/08/2013) [-]
No, bitch at Fox all you want but don't pretend they're the sole bad egg among the news stations.
User avatar #35 to #32 - failtolawl ONLINE (12/08/2013) [-]
I have seen more "fox news biased" videos and evidence of them being absolute garbage than any other one.
#40 to #35 - anonymous (12/08/2013) [-]
Oh youtube videos constitute evidence now? I can say i've seen just as many MSNBC, and CNN errors/lies/misinformation.
#52 to #45 - anonymous (12/08/2013) [-]
35 videos against a 24 hour news station that has been running for decades, do you really not see the flaw in your argument? Yes there are going to be errors over the years, yes it's going to be biased it's an opinion based news station, but again, this isn't something unique to fox, they all do it and when you single one out you're being biased, the same type of biased you're chiding fox for.
User avatar #64 to #52 - failtolawl ONLINE (12/08/2013) [-]
So it's ok to be biased, as long as you space it out in between news? Fox news has ZERO liberals on its news team, and the ones who claim to be liberals are garbage. good job shoopdewoopde
User avatar #253 to #64 - rcathell (12/09/2013) [-]
... your youtube channel does not seem at all unbiased....
'liberal viewer': conservative views since never.
User avatar #283 to #253 - failtolawl ONLINE (12/09/2013) [-]
The difference between that channel and fox news is that the channel admits to being liberal. fox news, "fair and balanced".

Have you ever seen Hannity in your life?
Yeah some people (like Rush/other shock jocks) are just completely stupid and full **** , but you have that on both sides of the aisle. Hannity almost ALWAYS has people from the other side of the table on to explain their point of view. If you are saying these kinds of things, you have never watched FN on TV before, you are obviously just spouting the views of others. I am firmly in the middle of both political views; I believe in conservative financial policy, but also believe in a woman's right to control her own life and body, and I also believe that certain things must be regulated to ensure safe working and living conditions for all Americans. I watch CNN/MSNBC and FOX which I feel most people must do to be able to sort through the BS coming from both sides to get a feel for what is really happening. ALL NEWS IS BIASED. ALL OF IT. Sit me in front of a camera long enough, and I will eventually probably feel it is okay to taint events to make them more favorable to my own views/opinions. This is because humans are greedy and corrupt as a rule. There is no real 'news outlet' anymore, there is just the "Whatever makes my arguments and dick waving more valid" channels.
#74 to #64 - anonymous (12/08/2013) [-]
I never said it was good to be biased, in fact I even said in my original comment bitch at fox if you want to, because it IS bad, but it's not any worse than the rest.

And MSNBC has so many hard conservatives on that get to share their opinions with 4 or 5 uberliberals yelling in their ears at every sentence.

All the major news stations do this **** , don't pretend that the ones you don't agree with politically are somehow worse.
User avatar #15 to #11 - Shiny (12/08/2013) [-]
Their pundits are par for the course, but outside of covering elections, Fox's news coverage is leaps and bounds more sensationalist and less fact checked.
#34 to #15 - anonymous (12/08/2013) [-]
Yeah let's listen to MSNBC where their news hosts say their political opponents should have people **** in their mouths.

And i'd have to say Fox does as much fact checking as any other news station, they all spew ******** , pretending one does it more than others is just being biased.
User avatar #36 to #34 - Shiny (12/08/2013) [-]
Fox is worse by sheer volume of lies and mistakes.
User avatar #57 to #55 - Shiny (12/08/2013) [-]
Opinions are not lies. Fox and MSNBC are perfectly allowed to slant, that is not why they are **** .

That said, these surveys are usually ********* , just like the one that said Fox viewers are the least informed compared to people who watch nothing, which is a logical fallacy.
User avatar #58 to #57 - zzforrest (12/08/2013) [-]
Basically the only reason Fox gets a lot of **** is because they have 1 or 2 crazy hosts ( O'Rielly is a ******* ) and they are conservative. They are just like any other news source in every other way : biased, picks their information, and picks fights they know they can win.
User avatar #60 to #58 - Shiny (12/08/2013) [-]
There are countless conservative news sources that are more reputable than anything related to Fox. If anything, their pundits are the ones that get too much **** ; O'Reilly can be an ass, but occasionally means well, and Beck was fired because even he was too much for TV.
#43 to #36 - anonymous (12/08/2013) [-]
Any evidence to support that claim at all?

New in quotations implying it is not really news. You know what quotations mark are right?
User avatar #47 to #44 - Shiny (12/08/2013) [-]
I said I watch the news, not that I took it for fact or reason. The MSNBC card is what people pull when they willingly feed themselves ******** , because it's okay when there's a different network feeding people other kinds of ******** , regardless of the fact that this other network doesn't even come close to the same viewership.
User avatar #50 to #47 - bjorntheberserk (12/08/2013) [-]
Also I do not watch any pundit ******** . And I only watch local news for weather. I do not really care for getting political information from tv. I use the internet and even then I take any political information with a grain of salt. Everyone is biased.
User avatar #48 to #47 - bjorntheberserk (12/08/2013) [-]
So more viewership means that certain networks have to be more responsible than others? So MSNBC, CNN, etc is given freedom to do whatever they want because no one watches their ******** ? That argument is ******** .

No what it comes down to it you just like every other liberal cry-ass do not like fox news preaching a conservative message. So you devolve into hypocritical complaints and try to make nonsensical arguments to shut down any who support the message of Fox news.
User avatar #51 to #48 - Shiny (12/08/2013) [-]
All networks are free to spout ******** . Fox is simply the worst about it, and it has nothing to do with the direction in which they lean. Cry about it.

Knowing about the crap the major networks spew is also important because it influences what people think.
User avatar #54 to #51 - bjorntheberserk (12/08/2013) [-]
Saying that Fox news is the worst offender is what really irks me because where is all the info that states fox deals in more disinformation than any of the other major "News" networks? That is why I stated "Cause MSNBC told me so". Because was there any actual unbiased study of which network is worse? Or is just all liberal propaganda?
User avatar #59 to #54 - Shiny (12/08/2013) [-]
I have to be liberal to hate Fox? By that logic, you only hate MSNBC because you're a conservative. It doesn't take an idiot to figure out why that is wrong. When you take all forms of media into consideration, the idea that the media is more liberal or conservative is generally unfounded.

If you want evidence, feel free to look up the lawsuits Fox has filed classifying themselves as entertainment.
User avatar #292 to #59 - bjorntheberserk (12/10/2013) [-]
No, but you criticizing fox for doing something MSNBC, CNN, etc does but then saying it is ok for the latter networks to do it tells me of your liberal bias.
User avatar #293 to #292 - Shiny (12/11/2013) [-]
I never said MSNBC and CNN don't do it. I'm allowed to say a serial killer is more harmful than someone who has killed once, and be thankful that lying on TV is a LOT worse than killing someone.
