Hippopotamonstrousesquippedaliaphobia

Shep
After seeing the coffin of his master
loaded onto a train in Fort Benton,
Montana in was - stayed at the
station, waiting for him to return, for
six years.
Hachiko
His owner had suffered from a
cerebral hemorrhage at work and
died, never returning to the train
station where Hachiko was waiting.
The faithful dog continued to wait for
nine years till the day it died.
His master had died in an air raid over
Ergo San Lorenzo in 1943, during
World War II. Fido waited in vain, for
the following 14 years, for soriano' s
return, going daily at the bus stop in
Luca del Murillo where the man
used to get off after coming home
Made her way down a 500 foot vertical
drop to get to the body of her owner
after he fell to his death while hiking)
and stood guard over his body for days.
Greyfriars Bobby
Was loyal to his master long after his
death in 1858. Until Bobby' s own
death 14 years later, he reportedly
spent every night at his master' s
grave.
After his owner had died during a
hike in the mountains,
stood guard by his body for eleven
weeks. He was found, cold and
starving, by another hiker. The
faithful dog only survived long
enough to attend his master' s
funeral.

Not even going to lie. I cried a little, dogs are wonderful creatures, I am scared of the day my dog dies. Going to be horrible.

Greyhounds, whippets, lurchers are all the best breeds, so loving, got a Lurcher cross with a Whippet and Greyhound myself, rescued her from coursing (hunting) Have you ever heard the story of Gelert the dog in Wales in the 13th century? If not, give this a read. Many feels involved.

oh god!! that got to me. really made my blood go cold!

we rescued Sebastian (my greyhound) from a guy who raised his dogs for racing, and kept all 13 in a small shed in his back garden. after 3 years of racing he would give them a tablet that would kill them quickly >< we managed to save our one, and then reported the evil geeza. sebby was my best friend when i was growing up! <3

No dog deserves to die that way, we had a border collie called Rosie who survived 3 strokes and was still going strong but died of old age, saddest day ever. My current dog Misty is scarily almost human, she knows when you're upset and angry or happy and energetic and barks back as a way of sort of replying to you talking to her.

Had her since I was in primary school, been through everything with me, helped me through a lot, couldn't ask for a better companion, I'd be lost without her. Just typing this makes me well up.

When I had my dog, I was afraid of the day it was going to die. Then one day we decided to put him down because of how old he was (no one knows exactly how old he was, but he was at least eight when we got him and we had him for ten years, he went deaf a year before, he was chewing at his paw to the point it bled and he couldn't walk on it, no body knows why.) And it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Okay, that's a lie I cried like a bitch when he died and I still miss him a lot. I miss ya buddy.

Putting down a dog is always hard, had to put my nan's dog down which was the dog from my childhood and after she had the injection she just laid there and put her head in my hands and just looked up at me, I've never been so upset in all my life, I never thought I could love another dog the way I loved that dog, but Misty came a long and totally changed that and can't imagine my life without her, I'd be even more ****** up than I am.
