Why do I have a feeling that the guy who made this is fat? Like the cunt doesnt even mention the amount of pure volume and endurance it takes to achieve a hypertrofied body, wrestling a bear my ass, more like being raped by one... By all means, I am not saying Powerlifting is ***** or cant measure up to hypertrofi, but the retard who made this clearly wasn't objective...

In this technological era, being "able to lift heavy things" has almost no function.
Looking attractive is highly advantageous, therefore more functional than strength.

What world do you live in where there is no need to lift heavy things?

Okay so i'm gunna be honest, im around 180 cm tall, and 57ish kg, and frankly its cause i'm too lazy to eat most of the time, which means My appetites limited to about 2 meals a day with a snack or two at some point. Now I wanna start exercising, its about time and I'm weak as **** . Can anyone give me any tips on which things i should do and what not? I tried push ups and crunches for like half an hour, back and forth, which most likely werent even done correctly, but after i was done i felt beyond exhausted and my entire body hurt for about three days. I'm gunna continue doing this, but I'm wondering if theres a better/smarter way to do this.

Every time I see this post I cringe, yes those body builders don't have much functional strength and do it for looks, but at the same time heavy lifters don't have that much functional strength either. Yes they could pop my skull like a pimple or bench a car, but you ask any one of them to run a mile, play a sport, anything practical, and they can't do it because all they have is raw strength, which is different than power.

I'm an ectomorph, so none of this really applies to me. I might get some muscular definition at best, but I won't get really bulky or anything. After running track for 6 months or so the best results I got were some really sleek and chiseled legs.
User avatar #47 to #46 - thewhitezombie (06/19/2014) [-]
... So you were running, and the only part of your body with visible improvement was your legs? The part you were using? Are you actually confused by this? And did you actually expect to bulk up with cardio? Really?

The first one looks like it has bat wings.

That's just too much muscle.

Those aren't the only 2 body types. And being a mountain-man tree lifter isn't the only form of functional fitness.

As a fat ass, the fat acceptance post are getting really old, but this tipped me over the edge. Seriously the person who made this is just trying to justify being fat and not doing any cardio and just lifting, but hey if that's your thing then go for it, but don't try and convince people that your life style should be respected. If you need to try there's obviously something wrong with you and you know it.

Either lose weight or shut the **** up.

"Not real power"

Next time I see someone with that body type it's good to know that they can't hurt me because they don't have any 'real power.'
