Her husband Pierre also won in physics, her daughter Irene and her husband Frederic won for chemistry, and her second daughter's husband was the director of Unicef when it won the peace prize in 1965.

among the women she's a legend, but among "white persons" she's kind of a drop of water in a lake, have you got the slightiest idea of how many "white" scientists have enriched our understanding of the universe? So many it's not even relevant to classify them that way.

And when it comes to science you don't see colours, those people stood out thanks to their mind, and mind has no colour. A lesson you should try to apply in your own life, and I'm speaking as a black person here, stop seeing the world in that dichotomic way "people of my colour VS the rest of the world", I can assure you you'll live a far better life, full of enrichment and free of that racial frustration you must suffer of.

Well, she didn't really invent dying of it, there are places in Australia that natives avoided because people who lived there kept dying and it turned out to be a massive uranium deposit.

He created the Nobel Peace prize because he was upset that his other invention was being used primarily to kill people. He created the prize to try and persuade people towards greater goals with peace and goodwill in mind.

He was deeply upset that the explosives he created were used for artillery when he intended them for mining. That is why he put the money he made from his invention into a peace prize.

Maybe I'm being really obvious, but that's not how radioactivity works. It destroys your internal organs on a cellular level, and after enough exposure you can die because they are too damaged for your natural regeneration to handle. You don't physically deform because of it, but your children may

The image is the process of Ghoulification from the Fallout series. The game is Sci-Fi so its loosely based on fact. (i.e. radiation causes mutation such as horseshoe crabs into giant bipeds.)
