Hello, I would like some help with my computer. I own an Acer Aspire laptop from 2009, and I have been having random bluescreen shutdowns at unexpected points while I browse the internet. After some research, I have concluded that the shutdowns are caused by a Microsoft Windows Kernel Power event ID 41 error. I also found some information on Microsoft's website that said something about debugging software. Here is the page with the software: msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg463009
I do not know what I am supposed to do. I think I'm supposed to download one of those programs, but I'm not entirely sure which one. If someone knows how to handle debugging, I would greatly appreciate their help.

I tried to install it, but it said something about me not having the driver to support it. I installed a program to monitor my comp's internal temp., and if I run out of options, then I'll just have to take my computer in and have it looked at.
When it happens is totally random. The first time it happened was about 5 days ago, and then I had one earlier and again about 2 hours after that. Here's how it happens: my computer just goes from normal stuff to a random mini-blue screen surrounded by black. It says something about memory drop and I can see the word "critical." The screen stays there for about 5 seconds before it forces restart. When my computer restarts, there's a screen that asks how I'd like to start Windows (normally or via safe mode), so I pick normal. Then I log in, and eventually a window pops up that tells me about the unexpected shutdown and asks if I want Windows to solve the problem, and I click so it does. But then nothing really happens. No windows pop up letting me know why it happened or anything. I go into Event Viewer, and it details the problem of the shutdowns. And I think it has something to do with BugcheckCode, whatever that is.
