I reckon you should straighten it. I mean it goes against my 'keep-hair-au-naturale' policy since I like my curls but like yeah, it looks good straightened and probably cropped shorter.

I also have thick curls. The thing is I have long hair now and wanted long hair. So when my hair looked like that (it did) I shaved the sides and back of my hair. Less curls make the hair fall instead of laying on top of curls.
However that is only an option if u want to grow it out. Also, no, if your hair is down people don't see it is shaved.

Yeah just find a length you'd like and you think works well. Different people have different styled curls, so just keep trying to find a length you like.
