Seccom Masada sensei.

In yume nikki if you solve a couple puzzles you end up on his space ship, where he will always play piano. If you get him to look at you, you can see his eyes are crooked.

Some people man...

I just...

Im an introvert man... I cant explain things to people about people.
I see the logic behind why people do things. I can explain that. Motives, reasoning, causes. I cant explain it into terms normal people get.
User avatar #1788 to #1787 - thechosentroll (05/28/2014) [-]
Yes, that's normal for an introvert.
User avatar #1789 to #1788 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/28/2014) [-]
I think I can get along well with you because of that.
You explain things factually. Without bias. You say why you do things and how you actually feel. There are no games. You're a logical thinker.

Do you feel like people perceive you as emotionless or cold in normal conversation? Or that you "Have no interest" when you just sit there and listen?..
User avatar #1790 to #1789 - thechosentroll (05/28/2014) [-]
Yes, I know for a fact that they do, since they've told me. I just look uninterested by default, but once people get used to it, they don't notice. As for the "say why you do things and how you actually feel" part, I've noticed that it's much easier to just be yourself. That's why I value honesty and people who don't pretend they're something they're not. That's why I have few friends, but I get along well with the ones I have, since I know that's who they really are. It's so much easier to be friends when no one's pretending to be something they're not. Just fly your true colors and give as little of a **** as possible.
#1791 to #1790 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/28/2014) [-]
I try to keep up appearances a little bit.
If you speak your mind too much you get into unnecessary conflict. I try to keep that to a minimum.
User avatar #1792 to #1791 - thechosentroll (05/28/2014) [-]
Yeah, I've noticed that sometimes it's better to just shut up. "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" and all that crap.
User avatar #1793 to #1792 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/28/2014) [-]

And I haven't slept.
User avatar #1800 to #1799 - thechosentroll (05/28/2014) [-]
Sounds like a regular school day to me. I've noticed that even the most social people have only two reasons to get up in the morning on a school day: because they have to go to school or because they have to take a piss. No one enjoys getting up and dragging their semi-comatose ass to school. Chill, you'll get used to it. And don't worry if people treat you like an outsider because you're new. Happens to everyone. You just have to give them some time to get used to the idea that you're part of their class.
User avatar #1801 to #1800 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/28/2014) [-]

Also, it's a bit more fun if you don't care about winning. Like my current main deck - the ragequit deck. It's pretty **** at everything but one thing, but it excels in it - making the other person yell "ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME?!?". I can pull a 28/28 creature out my ass on turn 5 and no one even expects it.

User avatar #1749 to #1748 - thechosentroll (05/16/2014) [-]
Seeing as how I'm currently half-asleep and slightly pissed, it's hard to tell how much is caused by my disposition and how much because of you. Still, I wouldn't say you're bothering me.
User avatar #1750 to #1749 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/16/2014) [-]
What are you angry about?
User avatar #1751 to #1750 - thechosentroll (05/16/2014) [-]
Because I got drunk and did something I haven't done since I was 12. The one thing I swore to never do again - give a **** .
#1752 to #1751 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/16/2014) [-]
Its okay sometimes.

People are people.
No matter how strong or competent we have needs we try to ignore because they make us feel weak.

If you have a concern I'm happy to listen, drunk or sober.
User avatar #1753 to #1752 - thechosentroll (05/16/2014) [-]
Yes, I realized something yesterday - why people claim I'm a nice person, while I've been left with the impression that I'm an utter twat. The reason I learned how to not give a **** and completely ignore all emotions is because ever since I was a kid, I've always been sensitive about that crap. I was the type of kid who got into a fight, beat the snot out of the other kid and then started crying, because they hurt someone. It was a massive pain in the ass, so I learned how to completely kill that stuff through discipline, willpower and all that cliche stuff.

That was years ago and I just now realized I didn't manage to completely suppress it. Yesterday, while drunk with my classmates, quite a few of them came over to talk. No specific reason, they just wanted to have a conversation, because talking to me "just feels good", so they shared their problems with me and, while I felt ****** at first, when they cheered up, I became happy for the first time in ******* forever. Really a rare event for me. And that's when my whiskey-numbed brain finally put two and two together and I realized why I'm always miserable - I'm like a goddamn emotional sponge. No, not like Spongebob. I mean my mood is dictated by the mood of those around me, which means I can't be happy unless everyone else around me is happy, which would finally explain why I always try to cheer up everyone around me and act like a ******* just to make them laugh. The problem is that the whole "cheering people up" thing always makes me sad or miserable, since now I'm thinking about their problems as well as mine. So, in the end, either I'm miserable because they're miserable or I'm miserable because I cheered them up. You seeing the issue yet? Basically, unless I completely isolate myself from people, I'm always miserable, which would explain why I'm perma-pissed.

Long story short: I got drunk and realized I'm going to die alone and unloved, because I can't be happy around people.
Silver lining: I'm an automatic mood-improver for anyone within a 20 meter radius, who I don't hate. Also, my desire to please everyone got me to rank #3 on funnyjunk.

User avatar #1765 to #1764 - slightly (05/22/2014) [-]
Now that's more like it.
#1754 to #1753 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/16/2014) [-]
I see the dilemma but not quite the solution.

One possible thing is that you could open up your own problems to others, as others do to you.

Everyone can clean up eachothers mess.
#1755 to #1754 - thechosentroll (05/16/2014) [-]
Remember the "so I learned how to completely kill that stuff through discipline, willpower and all that cliche stuff." part? What I meant by that is "I developed a seething hatred for it and now the very notion of doing that crap makes me want to punch myself in the face for being a little bitch.". I hate bothering others with my problems, since I consider it whining. I hate whining, I hate pity and I hate sharing my problems to the point where I've almost developed an anti-whining complex.

Sooooooooooo, yeah. Sharing not really an option. Frankly, I'm not even sure why I'm explaining all this right now. I think I may be in a state of "negative ***** given" right now, to compensate for yesterday.
#1756 to #1755 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/16/2014) [-]
Well.. If it's any consolation I would never pity you.
I wouldn't call it whining or weakness. Its a necessary thing for human beings to indulge rather.
Also the fact, I don't think I could ever see you as weak. You're far too manly for that notion.

But if its absolutely not going to happen fine. I'm here if you change your mind though.

On another note I'm actually going to public school tomorrow.
User avatar #1757 to #1756 - thechosentroll (05/16/2014) [-]
Well, prepare for endless pain, then. No offense, but you're not really the type of person who'll do too well amongst that kind of people. You're too nice and easily offended. People like me do well, since nothing ever gets to them. Still, I could be wrong and your school may be different from every school I've been to.
#1759 to #1757 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/16/2014) [-]

I recently tried playing Mordekaiser. I don't really have much free time to play him and I still suck, but he definitely seems like he'd be my kind of champ. I've seen fed Mordekaisers 1v5 and win. Not to mention his absurd pushing abilities.
#1741 to #1740 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (05/07/2014) [-]
Yeah mords are nice.

I like seeing tanky people on my team but I never like tanking. Its just a role I'm bad at.

Can't. Up to my nipples in school stuff, since it's the end of the year and I have to wrap some things up. I rarely have time for LoL. Plus, I play best when I'm alone, since I don't give a **** about my teammates and whether we're losing or not. But mostly schoolwork. Nah fran is sophisticated. I feel like she should have an elegant voice.
Also how tall are you again?
User avatar #1693 to #1692 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
She's still 16, though. Elegant or not, there are some limitations to how she can sound. Also, I'm 2,05 cm or 6' 7".
#1694 to #1693 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
Where did it say she was 16? I thought she was in her early twenties?
Also holy **** . I'm 165 cm.

Being short makes it harder to be attracted to taller women.
User avatar #1697 to #1694 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Also, trust me, you DO NOT want to be this tall. If you're 1.65, you've got the whole "cute" thing going for you. No one finds people as tall as me cute. Also, it's hard as **** for me to find a girl who I'm not afraid I'll crush if I try to give her a hug. I've only known two women who fit the description and one of them's my mother. The other moved to a different city. You've got a wider variety of women you can be with. I need someone with the build of a ******* amazon or a viking. I should move to Denmark or something.
#1698 to #1697 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
I suppose just like everything there's a happy medium.

I made my first friend in ten years in my new state after the move. A cute girl around 180 cm, and she still wears heels and elevated boots all the time. I knew her for 45 minutes before she was taking shots at my height. We went for a walk the other day and she was in like five inch heels and everyone was giving me the weirdest ******* looks.
User avatar #1700 to #1698 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Eh, they look at me like that regardless of who I'm walking with. Opposite reason, though - I just dwarf everyone around me with a few exceptions, so I'm pretty easy to spot in a crowd.
User avatar #1702 to #1700 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
I could imagine that being hard.
User avatar #1706 to #1702 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Eh, it has its' perks. I have to be careful with trees and road signs, though. It's hilarious to see someone walk into a stop sign or a branch, but it's painful as **** when it happens to you.
User avatar #1708 to #1706 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
I understand completely. On my end, near everyone is just intimidating.
I feel pretty scared in big crowds.
User avatar #1710 to #1708 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Yeah, but being intimidating sucks, too. Every little **** with an inferiority complex, who wants to prove how badass he is to his friends, keeps trying to jump me and act like they're tough **** . I could literally just raise my arm in the air and let it drop on his head and knock him down, but then all people see is the big guy picking on some little cunt.
#1711 to #1710 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
Sometimes I wish that kind of logic applied to me.

I've always been kidna picked on because I'm rather annoying. No matter how nice I try to be some people will find a reason. I somehow always find myself at the barrel of the gun and blamed for everything.

Some kid set my hair on fire in middleschool and I got suspended for it.
Some kid in middleschool who was like 6' tall (Back then I was like 5') kept bothering me and one day I got upset and kinda.. sorta slammed his head in the bus window. Nobody cared that he'd ****** with me half the year, but I finally defend myself and I'm the one in trouble.

Sometimes people are just out to get you man.
User avatar #1714 to #1711 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Yeah, I've had issues with that. Guess we're on the opposite ends of the spectrum, but still have to deal with similar **** . I always got blamed for everything. Someone beats me up for months, I throw a single punch and suddenly I have anger issues. Seriously, headbutt a single guy who's picking a fight and suddenly you're nearly expelled. That's why now I mostly use what I call passive violence. Basically, just let the person hurt themselves. You know, block punches with my watch, so the ****** breaks a finger. If I'm gonna get punched in the face, make sure it's the jaw, which huts the other person more than it hurts me. That sort of thing. That way I can't be blamed for anything.

If I tried that sort of tactic I would just be beaten to a pulp.

At least my bones probably don't break as easily being small. Or maybe more easily. Probably something I should know given my career pursuit but I'm still in the dark.
User avatar #1717 to #1715 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Depends on past injuries. When a bone's hit, even if it doesn't break, tiny fractures develop. When those heal, the bone near them becomes harder and denser. Get hit on a regular basis and your bones become hard as **** . For example, I've probably taken one too many hits to the head for the ol' brain to bare, but now my skull's so hard in places that I can break wallnuts with my forehead. Neat party trick.
User avatar #1719 to #1717 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
Fancy. I've been hit quite a lot but I never really get used to the pain. I'm a pussy I guess.
User avatar #1722 to #1719 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Eh, everyone has different tolerance to pain. Mine's just a bit higher. Also, I've accidentally electrocuted myself a couple of times, which could have damaged some nerves. I used to know a guy who had something similar - he got bitten by a venomous snake. He survived, but his nervous system was a bit damaged and his sense of pain was blunted as hell. He could have cut his fingers off and don't given a **** .
User avatar #1724 to #1722 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
I used to tease strangers by getting bit by my pet rattlesnakes (Which I'd already defanged)

But are you Ok? That sounds like it must have hurt a lot.
User avatar #1726 to #1724 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Not really. It was more of a tingly sensation. The main unpleasant part is the initial shock (no pun intended) when you feel all your muscles tense up and your heart skips a beat.
User avatar #1727 to #1726 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
I know the feeling.. My old job kinda involved that happening a lot. Faulty water pumps working in salt water tanks. Not like my boss/father cared that I was constantly being shocked...
User avatar #1695 to #1694 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
I'm not sure. Somewhere. Also, she sort of goes to school in a couple of chapters, since it wouldn't be a manga without SOMEONE being a high-schooler.
#1696 to #1695 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
She kinda just like shows up though. Does she actually ATTEND the school?..

So when I started reading franken fran I wasn't really exactly sure what I wanted to do. I've always had an interest in the medical field, but I think franken fran has helped me realize I want to be a nurse.
#1699 to #1696 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Eh, why not? It's a nice job. A lot of my classmates intend to do it. Funnily enough, I'd have an easier time becoming a doctor than an IT guy (what I'm currently aiming for). I **** you not, I recently did the entry exam for a medical university in my country with no preparation whatsoever and got 38 out of the 40 questions right. Still, I dislike hospitals, so I'd rather not become a doctor. For a time I considered becoming a pathologist, because I'm nigh impossible to gross out and dead people don't complain, but there isn't that much room for career growth, so I gave up on it. Also, I'd run out of death jokes by the end of the first month.
#1701 to #1699 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
Oh I'm sorry to hear that. I wish you luck.

I want to be a nurse to help people. I like to think I'm nice to people and can be comforting.
and between you and me I like the gore.
User avatar #1703 to #1701 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
You won't be seeing much gore as a nurse unless you work in the E.R.. Still, you'll get lots of chances to help people. Personally, I couldn't care less about helping people. I dunno, I just don't get any satisfaction out of it.
User avatar #1704 to #1703 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
I just like to feel useful and I like seeing people smile. Most people coming into a hospital wont have much to smile about so I have to make sure they will.

Eh my mom was a phlebotomist and even she saw enough, but looking back, I think most of the time she wounded up in places of the hospital she wasn't supposed to be.
User avatar #1707 to #1704 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Well, you're definitely a better person than I am. Plus, every medical job has its' disgusting moments. Some just more often than others.
User avatar #1709 to #1707 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (04/26/2014) [-]
I'm sure thats not true. Just not everyone likes facetime with people.
I bet you're really nice to animals.

Yeah and I don't get disturbed by very much as far as anatomy goes.
Basically the only thing that really ***** with me is parasites.
#1712 to #1709 - thechosentroll (04/26/2014) [-]
Yes, I'm pretty good with animals. However, I am by all accounts an asshole and proud. Sure, I'll be nice to you if you're nice to me, but the second someone starts acting like a douchebag I enter cunt mode and make them never want to see me again. That's why it's generally a bad idea for me to work at a hospital - I'd probably make about 20% of my patients go to a different hospital or just ask for a different doctor. You ever watch "House"? I'm like that, but less awesome and more emotionally stable.

Yes, yes I would and usually do. However, this sort of ****** why I also have a hard time making friends. As for the sticking up, I mostly do it because I don't tolerate ******** . If someone's pissing me off, I'm gonna do something about it, regardless of how much it ***** me over. You know how sometimes when someone's being an asshole to you and you tell them to **** off some big guy, who's their friend or older brother, shows up and goes "If you've got a problem with him, you've got a problem with me." and expects everyone to just get scared and give up? I don't give up. I can't tell if I have no self-preservation instinct or I'm just the most stubborn ass I've ever known, but **** me if I give up just because someone's trying to intimidate me. I've been beaten up because of it, I've barely passed grades, because I stood up to a certain teacher, I've been threatened, I've been hit, I've nearly been stabbed a couple of times, but I'll still keep doing this until the day it eventually gets me shot or stabbed to death.

People commonly mistake it for loyalty or courage. In reality, I just don't know when to stop and I don't care what the consequences are. Also, I have little respect for authority, which is a bit of an issue.

I hardly use it. Plus, I normally don't like talking. Frankly, the only reason I'm doing it now, is because I had an exam today and I'm half-asleep, half-dead, so I'm not my usual self right now. For some reason when I'm in this state, I'm either a lot nicer or completely unbearable.
