Yeah but you gotta beat it to the next area, then set up the trap, then lure it into the trap...plus half the time it interrupts you putting down the trap and half the time the trap is down, it passes over it without triggering it cause the trap was put down too recently.

The two minions are there to distract. I never set down a trap until it recently moved into a new area. Hate those moments when you start putting it down, the monster turns around and just leaves.

I still only have Cha-cha. Didn't get Kayamba yet.

My next quest is to hunt a Gobul.

Also, I hate underwater fighting and as a result I'm a sad panda that the focus of this game is underwater :(

Killed it, but didn't manage to break anything (I'm sad my weapon of choice, Dual Swords, is generally terrible for breaking off monster parts).

You just gotta keep whacking at dem parts.

Slime element, regardless of weapon choice, is the BEST weapon to break parts.

In some cases I can't even reach the parts, like Barroth's head. And even if I hit, it's almost impossible, since about 95% of my hits just glance off it.

And the only weapon I've seen so far that has an element is an upgrade to my Dual Swords, that requires Lagiacrus parts.

For barroth you need impact damage. So hammers and hunting horns will knock that scalp right off. Start with peco. He has fire elements.

Ugh, I hate Peco. I'll just use my bull's head hammer :P

I only blame Monster Hunter. No matte how passively you play that game, the stick will break. Movement will become harder. It's infuriating. I even went gunner, where I would not have to move that much and the stick still broke.

Yes. I prefer it than the current one. I'm not sure but it has the same amount or more large monsters. You get a cat as a sidekick, and a lot to do and see. Very fun. However I don't recommend it because that game is known for its horrendously unfair hitbox sizes.
If you can take the stress and frustration, it's worth it.

Well to be honest at least one of my ideas worked quite well.

I'm probably a lot more convincing with my disguises now that I know that change the weapon of the person I'm pretending to be over and over. Used to think it was a one time thing only. Hooray for learning!

As Spy? That's pretty neat. Do you have to do it manually or?

Yeah. B changes it while you're disguised. It changes depending on what you have out already. Primary, secondary or melee. Obviously people are going to check me anyway and over do it so not always reliable but today before it all went downhill I kept switching it while walking around the other team and they barely paid attention to me. As if I was just one their pyro's derping around.

Pretty much what it sounds. Hunt monsters. Beasts, dragons, wyverns. Whatever is out there. Not much of a storyline, just go out and kill. New ones are starting to get into making an actual story.
