wow theres so many rants now a days we need a rant section

i very much agree with this statement. I looked at this site forever as an anon. My little sister convinced me to actually get an account, i don't know why because i still dont do anything with it. But as a female gamer i was very much attracted to how chill this site seemed and how everyone seemed to post really funny stuff at first. However, lately with all the 'meme's? and all the stupid drama over certain contributors, it's totally turned me off to adding anything on here or even bothering to thumb. i don't like contributing to all this drama. i feel like im on xbox live with tons of little 10 year olds who just learned to hack and want to go mlg. you guys post great funny stuff, but the dumb drama turns people off to participating.

Honestly, most FJers are the biggest hypocrites on the internet. They complain about unfunny shit being put on the front page but do they do anything about it? NO! They're like the world's citizens; complaining about injustices but not doing anything about it!
But that's not all! They actually support the unfunny shit despite their constant bitching! It's called the red button, people! Use it for unfunny shit or annoying reposts, not for original content that is actually funny!

And now that I've said my thoughts, you're probably going to thumb this down! Go ahead, I dare ya I even commented with my account for your pleasure! But remember, doing the latterand then bitching about FJ's problems doesn't make you any less of a hypocrite!

...i dont understand....its not the posters who put unfunny/rants/reposts to the front page, its the people thumbin it...i agree, get rid of the levels, it only conceives thumb lovers (lol conceives= sex) but yeah all people do is bitch about that stuff, when really its just stupid.

I think, maybe if we had a different way to do this it would be better. Because yeah, I LOVE twilight and ima guy, wtf you gunna do? oh yeah, thumb me down. But then, it ALSO takes away the credit from the AWESOME people. Those people who actually work hard to make something funny, but it doesn't get found, because no-one thumbs. I can get 170 views and only 7 thumbs, I don't even give a shit if it's thumbed down, I just want to know if i'm funny or not! So if we could keep the ranks, but not base them on the thumbs....

awe. if we got rid of levels, i would be sad D: i made a origional comic that was pretty funny and got front page and gave me 5 levels. it would make me kinda sad if it got taken away :( too bad the thumb whores only can't get stripped of their status. it's kinda odd how some really soft and sad music was playing when i typed that :D
