Why did she have a name? I thought storm troopers were given a designation
>My best guess is that Poe called him Finn because of FN
thats exactly how it went down so either you dont want us to know you watched the movie or you are really really good t guessing

Uh, yeah I know in the EU some clones had names but that's not my point because clones/=/storm troopers and the republic /=/ empire /=/ new order.
In the new order, the reason they didn't give them names is because they wanted to prevent individuality and independent thought so they purposely didn't give them things that made them unique like names. I was just curious as to why they let her have a name. Anyway have a nice day.

Storm troopers do have designations, however Phasma is not a storm trooper like the rest of them. She's a general. She has a name because she volunteered, she wasn't kidnapped. She's a true believer and that is what makes her special/different. I don't think it was for diversity's sake, I honestly think it's because she was written that way. Is she kindof a sucky character? yeah. Is she dead? probably not. Was the intention to eventually build her up into something better? Probably.

Because they were trying to make her into a strong independent female villain to fill out the diversity checklist, but failed pretty miserably. She's not really a significant character at all like they intended.
Also she's secretly part of the Sith Triumvirate in command of the First Order (Kylo Ren, General Hux, and Phasma), but acting as a Stormtrooper Captain. Why? Who knows. They probably couldn't think of anything else to make her more interesting.

I just can't disassociate her from Gwendolyn Christie's ugly face

Oh come on, if she's gonna be naked she would have an athlete body. Not a plumb type of body.
The first picture is fine. The second is just a bit off but the third is just way off.

vicecomx (01/12/2016) [-] Phasma armor would definitely be useful in dominating a dominant female fantasy.

I was oddly attracted to her in the film for some reason, and then I looked up her actress...
That's one manly woman.
