Problem is that's not very progressive. Like all things there should be moderation, but while it acknowledges that these people are legitimate, it also hurts those who are legit. If a woman who knows in the core of being she is a man gets treated like and referred to as a woman every day of her life, that's just going to cause severe depression, greater than already not being in the body that's actually comfortable for her.
