No, Merkel's policy was not well thought through but it was an invitation for other countries to open their borders and spread the load. Sadly, most countries didn't which is why Germany is experiencing serious problems right now including a vicious wave of neo-nazis who are litteraly terrorising innocent refugee families.
The quickest way to get new Muslin inhibitants to change their ways is to make them part of our culture ASAP. If we keep shunning them out of society then yes, their secluded community will only grow until it's big enough to overthrow the current society.
