My friends and I once made a clan called the IRA on a rust factions server and we were forced to change our name by offended Irish fags.
I'm betting it was the Unionist 'Irish', don't see why a republican Irishman would be offended. Or perhaps you and your friends are a bunch of fags and not worthy of the name. (Kinda like how the current IRA aren't).

Are you suggesting that Americunts wouldn't be offended by a server called ISIS by people who are stupid enough to think ISIS are 'freedom fighters'?
Because that's basically what the IRA are. They're not freedom fighters anymore, if they ever were, they're a bunch of ******* terrorists who have murdered far too many innocent people, both Irish and English.
Maybe those people were offended because people they knew were caught in IRA-planted pipe bombs? Or their siblings were caught in those bombs they placed by schools? Or, like a friend of mine, maybe their mother's fingers were shot off because she had an English accent?

Quick poll:
Thumb this up if logic is a superior problem solving method
Thumb this down if emotional reasoning is superior.

Very few people would disagree with logic being the superior choice. That is not the issue, nor has it ever been.
The issue is that people assume they are using logic when they are actually using emotion. Yes, that includes you. Everyone does it to some extent, whether they're willing to admit it or not.

So many non-Irish in the comments talking about what Irish people believe and say...
You're all the same it doesn't matter when you're back in your home country. Your mother should have aborted you but instead she decided to raise a future rapist..
It's not offensive because leprechauns are fictional creatures, not an irish stereotype.

Actually, the Irish do get offended by things. But only things that really matter and directly affect them. Rude comments don't offend them 'cause they are only words, not deeds. Commit offensive deeds against an Irishman and you better start running, they do not forgive, they do not forget and their concept of revenge can easily be 10 fold worse than the original offense.
The Irish also have a very interesting temper. They will take it and take it and take it until, out of the clear blue, they decide they have had enough and come at you suddenly, without warning, full force and from the least expected way possible.

the Irish people come out of the womb drunk, and maintain that state for their entire lives, with such a life-long commitment where would they ever find the time to be offended.
