Anyone got any info on that copper tube knife heating thing?
Could come in handy when forging knifes.

...do you think you could use the heat from that to forge?
i'm not really sure if it's hot enough or too hot, but maybe?

Okay, I need to know how #4 fits so perfectly - there's a lot of ways to cut metal, even precisely, but none that leave zero gap. Unless... both were cut separately.
And, what in the world is #6? I can see an induction coil doing that, but not that quickly and I can't imagine it doing it at that gauge.

More or less.

Hate to break it to ya but as long as you didn't touch the coils, you'd be completely fine.

my best guess is that the copper bit is cutting threads into whatever that thing is in the chuck. So you can put a bolt into it or something. I've never seen threads cut by machine before. I'm impressed by the how the thread cutter holds steady until it the sleeve meets the chuck. Lathes are neat Embrace the Spiny Thing

deadlyfoez (01/11/2016) [-] I caught a field on fire doing this. 0/10, I would not recommend, especially when you are only 9 years old.
That's a sweet knife in the first one. anyone know info about it?
Seems to be a regular pocket saw.
