He was just dreaming though, right
And doesn't the joker have regenerative properties
And doesn't the joker have regenerative properties
regenerative properties???? no..........joker is just a sociopath mortal.
Wat? Wolverine didnt fall into anything to be able to regenerate.
Pretty sure youre trolling though.

Wolverine is a different story because, well, he's a Marvel character. He was born with that ability.
he did fall into some kind of acid. but that acid only made his face white, his hair green and lips turned crimson red.
he went mad after that. that's the "Red Hood" story of joker.
he was stuck with some criminals and had to pay them back or something and then batman comes, stops him, and while fighting batman he falls into the acid.
his story goes much deeper though. i like the version where he works as a comedian but doesn't make enough money for his child and his wife because people think he's not funny . so he turns to crime to make money, and wears the red hood, falls into the acid again, loses his wife and his child. then he turns into a maniac we all know and love

my theory for injustice is that joker actually has a power. its a type of psychokinesis that fosters insanity. i mean why else would these people work for him? and the peoples irrational levels of fear of him. he tries to drive batman to the point where he will choose to kill the joker. then the batman would eventually become the biggest supervillain of all time. but because of how much batman resists this slide into depravity he decides to instead go after the man of steel because he was tired of always losing. i mean imagine it, if batman had been the one to go bad instead then he would have cleaned house worldwide. if superman wasnt willing to kill or use the yellow ring then the plan batman had for taking superman down would have worked. if batman had got the yellow ring he would have been the leader of the yellow lantern corp. no one could have stopped him.
Interesting idea. I once read a thing that theorized that Jokers' power is impossibly good timing. Because a joke is nothing without proper timing, and Joker's countless outlandish and borderline impossible schemes all run like clockwork and depend on impossibly perfect timing.

i think he has a higher level intellect for sure but i say his power is fostering madness/insanity/irrationallity/etc/etc... basically all the dark stuff. mainly its the nihilistic glee sometimes found in people he tells to fight the batman and how most of them wouldnt work together but once the joker says "kill the bat" they are blinded with joy at being able to target him.
I think we're on a similar train of thought. I don't know about all that psychokinesis stuff, but from what I gathered after reading The Killing Joke, he was just subject to the right perspective of the world that he can Hannibal Lecter his way inside people's heads. Generally, Batman doesn't buy into his nihilistic ******** until the end of TKJ, when even he has to see how stupidly tragic it all is
Man, how ******* great is the Joker? He's so interesting that I don't think he can ever be overrated.
what if the chemicals that made him white skin / green hair contaminated his body so his sweat glands emit a pheromone that entices others to obey him

seriously?
if it was like that he would say something and his will be done by everyone that is smelling him. and batman would have figured that out ages ago.

well it is possible that after the chemical bath that maybe something unlocked in him like a latent mental force where he can use the intensity of his mind to influence others, and that same intensity of mind also gave him that insane strength he shows sometimes like punching someone and they flew several feet away
but then if it was a psychic power it would affect more people than it currently does.... more likely or in part, a chemical emission from his body like one of the poisons he cooks up that affect others minds and bodies

i said fosters. not controls. a power so subtle that batman doesnt notice it.
well batman is a bit insane too. he just hides it better
That was a major spoiler for me but I aint even mad, I liked it

so.. this is like.. what? the twohundrethfiftysixth time the Joker 'officially' died?
i don't understand the logic behind keeping a serial killer/terrorist alive. lets be real here, the first time batman ever captured the joker he would have been sent to some hole in the ground so far off the grid that even superman couldn't find the place. not this sending him to an asylum ******** .
What comic series is this? The art looks really similar to what was done in Ultimate X-Men
Injustice - gods among us, here's a link to where I left of yesterday, just go back to the first volume viewcomic.com/injustice-gods-among-us-year-3-three-019-2015/
no this is spoilers superman went crazy and became a despot, to try to stop him without killing him they put him into a dream state. in that dream batman was able to tell superman that he was about to kill lois and saved them, then batman kills for superman and goes to jail. eventually they show the future about 30 years later with batman married to wonderwoman and they have a son who ends up dating supermans daughter and becomes they both become the next leaders of the justice league. but eventually he gets out.
Is this from the injustice comic? I've gotten really intriguied by all these posts with injustice, is there any where I could start reading the series? Thanks it would help a lot!
viewcomic.com/injustice-gods-among-us-year-3-three-019-2015/ go to volume one, I bookmarked it here when I stopped reading yesterday.
Warning: Actual possible spoilers ahead. Don't click if you haven't read the Injustice comics yet. I forget the circumstances behind it, but this didn't actually happen. Can someone help me out on this?
Dude, anyone who knows anything about Injustice knows that, it happened in the first issue and is the fulcrum of the video games' plot.

Yesss random prison guards, point your guns at Superman. Because that work so well for every single villain that tried it.
I'm sure they are aware of that. but it is their job to do that ayway
the beauty in this is showing the difference between superman and batman. Superman is so very human. Ironically, much more so than batman. When he loses louis, he goes insane. He takes over the planet to prevent all crime. When batman realises that he can no longer control the joker, he sticks to his ideals. Sure, he kills him, but he refuses to believe that he's the good guy anymore and is willing to pay the price.
