(01/04/2016) [-] Why didn't they run tho?
like, if i heard the sound of shooting and the sounds of men burning to death (for there is really only one kind of scream like that), I'd probably not stick around and find out what is going on.

kingdaniel (01/04/2016) [-] is it possible not to listen to your bosses and get a good ending?
Walker is the boss. You are your boss. But the game is the boss of you, and as the creator says, the only good ending is your death.

You'll get a few choices throughout the game but most of the important ones are at the end, play it for yourself and see what ya get and then see what the others are if your interested.

are there choices you have to make? do you have to pull the trigger on a begging civilian like the mercenary in ninja gaiden 3 (the only thing that struck me about ninja gaiden 3)?
i dont want to feel the responsibility of horrible things, i'd rather watch as control is taken away from me and horrible things happen
but if the game makes you feel it every time you **** it all up then it definitely deserves credit

There are choices you can make, but to say anything else would be spoiling your experience.

I personally didn't really like the game that much.
You can see that something is the wrong decision, but because it's scripted you're literally forced to keep going with the story.
It's like driving a car into a wall. You know you're going to hit it and possibly die, but you keep going and when you hit it you act all surprised.
This is why games that actually offer a choice between genocide/murder and non-killing is better IMO. Games like MGSV or (gasp) Undertale.

I never found it as feely as everyone else seems to.
The "mistake" happens way to fast, feels forced, and the game gives me absolutely no reason to care or feel emotionally attached whatsoever.
But that's just my feelings on it.

Maybe you all guys shouldn't be faggots who delude themselves into thinking that killing people in a videogame is nearly comparable to doing so in real life. It's just like the **** undertale genocide route, you kill monsters and then the stupid developers throw sans to say that you just killed "because you could, therefore you had to". WELL DUH, THAT'S WHAT A ******* GAME IS FOR. I'm not going to feel responsible at all for the fact that I'm making virtual people who by definition don't really exist nor feel nor anything die or suffer.
TL;DR: Thinking morality in games should make the players feel bad is for absolute dumbtards.

At the White phosphorus moment I was looking and thinking: Damn those dudes look like civilians.... Perfect! lets burn them all.
I actually liked that I was the villain.

I'm kinda glad this game became a cult hit because if 2k was desperate to hire a another studio Darkside Game Studios to make multiplayer content nearly at the 3/4 done of the development, and then if it did sold very well at the beginning 2K would try to make a sequel for a quick buck
btw Cory Davis the lead game designer from Yager Development was ask in a interview "what his thoughts on the multiplayer in the game" he said it was ******** what 2K did and it would of kinda ruined the mood of the game www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-08-29-yager-spec-ops-multiplayer-was-bullsh-and-should-not-exist
