Levvy isn't that far off, JJ puts just a little too much comic relief in these movies.
I thought that, too, but it wasn't enough to bother me, and I really liked that stormtrooper scene.
ah,yeah, those guys are screwed. i can't imagine they didn't find out, who were on patrol at that time. (this and many more poor jokes in a 200.000.000$-worth-production. audience has probably ADHD, so they won't listen up, if we don't put a joke every 5 minutes... or a self-aware droid spinning 'round 'n **** )
It is going to have kids in the audience, and that means if they can hook kids to the star wars hype train, they will. The new generations have a different sense of humor, that doesn't make it bad.
not directly bad, no, but questionable for me, when it happens at the amount i've seen.
seems lazy to me, causes cheap emotions

So maybe mager spoiler not story related but still dont want any one bitching also want to talk about star wars but didnt want to because spoilig it for anyone. so any one else think ray is the daughter of Han Solo, and Liea
I have a theory, but part of it speculates on Kylo Ren's age... If he had already gone dark around the time Rey was born, perhaps Han and leia didn't want her being captured/corrupted by him. The only way they could protect her was to send her to the most remote, barren planet they could find...?
That's a good thought. It'd make sense. But like you say, Kylo Ren would have to be significantly older than her.
Which would be tattooine, but you can't have a cool 'inside a crashed star destroyer' scene because of those goddamn jawas.
I'm speculating that she's Luke's daughter because of the monologue that was in the trailer with Rey being so adept with the Force .
heirloom*
But if what I speculate is true, we'd have to figure out why Rey was on Jakku, and who she was waiting for .
Honestly, I just want to know where Rey comes from. She's skilled in many things, and I want to know why.

I'm kinda hoping she's really Luke Skywalker's daughter. Her vision when coming across Luke's lightsaber would have more significance storywise that way.

Kylo Ren was a ******* sperg. Imagine if a pepe green text story was a character in a Star Wars movie

>THAT BITCH WON'T GIVE ME MY ******* MAP
>DAD IS A ******* NORMIE WHO DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THE SITH ISN'T "A PHASE"

In all honesty, I can seriously imagine that this was how Vader was at that age after turning to the dark side. Though he was more skilled at fighting obviously.
dunno why but in every ******* star wars thing the sith and the dark side are always shown
as these immature as **** emo edge lords who will just kill ******* anything and anybody even
if that is the wrong thing to do,
i tried the star wars mmo and the entire dark side was just stupid, throwing away everything
for no reason.
i know the dark side relies on emotions for power but come the **** on.

I really didn't enjoy the new movies. It was just so disappointing.
I saw this post, didn't get it, watched the movie and just came back, laughed my ass off
POSSIBLE SPOILERS HERE: So, I just saw Episode VII today, and not knowing anything about the expanded universe as to what canonically went on between Episode VI and VII may have hurt me because while I enjoyed the movie, Kylo Ren just hit a bit of a sour note with me. He seems more like a whiny edgy teenager with daddy (and grandaddy) issues than a supreme villain. Sitting in the theater, I could imagine him as a 12 year old, sitting in his room cutting himself while Han and Leia took the rest of the kids to go visit Uncle Luke and play Jedi with him.

Angry, hurt and confused form the pre-Sith trifecta. Most Sith were probably edgy and awful once.
True, but at least Anakin's reason for turning to the Dark Side was a bit more fleshed out and on-screen. He was scared for Padme's life, hurt by the way he was looked down on by the Jedi, and confused as to whether he should put the Jedi or the govenrment first. With Kylo Ren, all we know is that Han wasn't the best dad so Ben went off and started trying to live up to a villain that Darth Vader would've been proud of....except that doesn't make much sense to me because wouldn't he know that Anakin Skywalker turned back to the light before dying? I feel like that's something that Leia and/or Han would've told him about his Grandfather, and not just made him out to be Darth Vader, this horrible Sith lord that a villain should aspire to be like.....but again, this is where my ignorance of the extended universe may be hindering me.
I honestly hope they dont do that whole "Oh hey im the big edgy bad guy and i hope that someone can turn me to the light side" with ren
After having read all the expanded universe books several years ago, this movie disappointed me.
