That and the rapid cuts of you coughing made me lose my voice from laughing, mostly because I'm ill and talking so much more than usual from being a GM. I bet you're a nice guy, and I bet you've had it hard and I wish I could have helped you. I am hoping you have changed your mind since then but I'm sorry man but talking to and seeing someone else's significant other is just disgusting. You don't need a relationship to feel belonging. You don't need that to feel loved. Especially the way you were trying to get one. I know this might get me red thumbed to death but I was appalled by the first two stories about girls you had.

I have no doubt that at the time of me falling in love with both of those girls, I was not ready for a relationship, nor could I have been a good boyfriend, especially not as good as the ones they have/had.
But that's not the point. After I confessed to Sarah, I remember part of the conversation I had with Paul. He told me:
"It's not that you can't have my girlfriend because of X and Y, you can't have my girlfriend because she's MY girlfriend!"
He has a point. I can't just have whoever I want just because I love them. Imagine if the roles were reversed? Imagine if you had a girlfriend and some guy fell in love with her and she just up and left you just because she felt sorry for him. That's ****** . What I was trying to do was ****** .
So it's okay. I don't even want a relationship with Sarah anymore. We aren't really that compatible, I just really like her. Alice on the other hand is a different story!

I don't know you Hank, but I wish I did. The fact that you can get up and talk about this in front of everyone is awesome. I can't say I've been through everything you have, and it's not fair to even compare, but I know what some of that is like, that feeling that you don't deserve what you have, bad relationships with women, all that. But I want you to know that your posts have always made me laugh, and have been some of the first things I really could laugh at after a rough point in my life. I know, the it can't mean much from some stupid idiot on the internet, but you're a great person, and I think if I hadn't gone back and listened to Jet Fuel when I did, I might still be down in the dumps. Last thing, I want you to know that you got a friend in me, whether you take me up on it or not, you made this community stronger than what it used to be, and you helped me get over myself. Love you man,(In a no-homo, maybe partially-homo way)

By no means am I comparing or trying to get pity here but I feel like I've just connected with this stranger who's never even known me. Like in my eyes I've gone through some really hard stuff but when I hear from people who have almost lost their life it's really eye opening. **** I'm just an 18 year old kid who's gonna start going to college and find out who I wanna be and what I wanna do in life. I have to thank you for all the laughs you've given me and all the joy this entire website has given me. It gives me hope that someday at least most of us are gonna be okay. Thanks Hank, I hope to keep seeing from you soon.
