I had to work today from 8am-3pm at my local grocery store, had a young guy come in and get almost $20 worth of groceries, but he forgot his wallet, I initially gave him the idea that we can manually enter his card number in provided he could contact his brother or wife. Unfortunately he couldn't and was about to leave without his groceries, but an older man behind him offered to buy him his groceries cuz it's Christmas season. He accepted begrudgingly, as the older man insisted. It was the nicest act of kindness I've ever seen with my eyes. Forgot to tell my supervisors about it as it got nightmarishly busy today...
