I wish Americans said mate. I started saying it hoping my friends would catch on but I look like a retard going around calling my friends mates and they say, alright man or dude

I'm Australian and tend to only use mate in a joking way. The majority of us aren't bogans that talk like this in day to day life but personally I find it fun to put on the voice and play the part some times. No harm in you doing the same where you live.
Call them m80
Sounds jokingly enough for nobody to get too serious over it

The only thing that really gets the belt zizzling is direct sunlight, maybe he parks in a garage.
proof that skeletorexplains may be a salty bastard on FJ, but on the streets hes a bro
If only there werent many critters trying to kill you in Australia, I think I wouldn't mind the heat.
Always though about doing the same thing, but poorfag and i dont like talking to people.

Good deed and all, but if you record it I will automatically assume you are a dick.

Guys wait. Hang on I have a crazy ******* idea. What if... now bear with me here... what if filming a kind act doesn't make it any less kind?? I know it sound ridiculous but I think I may be onto something here.

Well you are not wrong that this could be a bit attention whoring, like: "Oh yea look at me, LOOK AT ME as I'm doing some random act of kindness by spending some of my money for some strangers, oh yes look at my shirtless chest with the tattoos and stuff". However I would like to think that videos like this will inspire people to be kinder to each other in theri daily lifes hopefully, but suspicions like yours throw that thought out the window.

So what if it's attention whoring? He's drawing attention to a random act of kindness that probably made those construction workers' day. Like you said, the attention will hopefully cause more people to do such acts. There's nothing wrong with feeling good about yourself for making another person happy. That's just spreading more positive feelings.

My issue with attention whoring with acts of kindnesses is that personally they seem disingenuous to me. In my mind I doubt he would have helped the workers if he was alone without the internet, camera or his friend. On the face it doesn't really matter since they are more positives then negatives in this situation but it just bugs me.

I totally understand that. However the point of a kind act is how it affects the person you're being kind to. I don't think the workers would care at all whether the guy was being "genuine" or not, as they're getting a well-deserved cold drink either way.
As an outdoor worker, I LOVED the customers who did that and would go that one extra mile to make sure everything they ordered was in perfect order in boxes inside the big shipping crates so it wouldn't get damaged instead of just doing my usual ''throw it in there and call it a day''

I took this Friday afternoon heading home from work at about 1:40pm. I'm in south east Queensland and we're not even in the peak of summer yet. You can expect it to get up to the 45, 46 even hotter in out here.
Cunts ****** .

Got my tickets to Cairns right now , gonna be over there from 28th of December up to 10 of January ( after that fly to Tassie). So i guess i gotta have to prepare for those soulmelting hot day's again, right ?
Last time i was in Queensland , it was there during November. And even that was still hot enough. Anything you would tell me to prepare for or take with me to survive this ?
Best Regards

Get a hat (the big arse straw kind) and if you're going to the beach or even just out in the sun drown yourself in sunscreen first. Cairns sucks for heat but just stick to the shade or head to the coast if you struggle man. She'll be right, mate.
