I can't tell if I really ******* love this or if it's complete garbage.
Either way, 10/10 would listen again

Going to go out on a limb and have an unpopular opinion:
I think emo and edgy people give Linkin Park a bad name. If you take the music for what it is, is is generally pretty good stuff that at the time it was made was pretty new and interesting. Sure it was whiny at times, but it was generally creative and well thought out, and if you take the words out of the picture most of the beats were very complex and had a pretty unique sound to it.

do you want source for the original song or the song i posted?
(10/28/2015) [-] well i did leave a warning at the very least.
i made that one you posted, yet am still surprised by how loud it is. Audacity amplification +100db doesn't **** around.

I apreciate that you actual sourced the rap, but i knew it and was using the common "song name?" joke for darude. i also cannot spell apreciate. Apreceate Appreceaite **** this is hard. Apreceate apreciate. appreciate , it has 2 p's
All Star is in Gb/F# major
In the End is in Eb/D# minor
That would make them a minor 3rd away from each other (or a major 6th going the other way), and since In the End is in a minor key, none of the notes in either scale clash with each other. Which makes this remix the ****** bomb.
Honestly I ******* hate it when people do mashups of songs that don't even work together unless you have to alter the pitch.
Having perfect pitch also definitely helps.

Well that one's actually half decent, it's just shifted down a fifth so it's not following the melody but it still sort of works. Still irks me though.
Side note: I'm actually majoring is music education at my college right now so I'm packed full of this sort of information daily.

That's a lot dude! Almost a shame you haven't stuck with it but it's your life and your decisions... I'm a percussionist myself. Dabbled in saxophone in 8th grade but other than that it's been strictly drums and percussion. Right now I'm the alternate drummer in CWU's third jazz band, bass drum 5 in marching band, and percussionist in symphonic band. Haven't hit any education courses yet though being that I'm a first year.
ONLINE (10/27/2015) [-] euph, baritone, and trombone are all basically the same thing though, you just hold them different and with the trombone, you slide the 7 positions instead of the 7 finger positions. Clarinet was middle school and early high school, but I always played the **** out of the thing and got massive headaches.
Marched trombone last year at va tech though, which was fun, but I dunno, I've slowly grown to dislike organized music groups. Tried a community weekly concert band about two months ago and while those guys were pretty cool, it reminded me of everything I hated about rehearsals.
I just kinda like doing my own thing, and lately, that's been arranging music. I've got a great ear and transcribing **** doesn't take long at all. Here's Take On Me for 6 trombones if you ever want that.
Also, FJ resizes videos the **** down, so here's the youtube upload of it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wJgHXk88V4

Man, that's awesome!! My band director arranged a marching band version of the same song. I feel ya on the ear thing too btw. Is that Sibelius? I recommend using Noteflight. Virtually the same service for vastly cheaper. I've arranged a couple things on NF if you wanna hear them.
I'm curious though as to what you dislike about organized rehearsals?

ONLINE (10/27/2015) [-] **** paying for **** that I don't use to make money myself, I pirated the **** out of sibelius 7.5
Anyways, since then I've ascended to linux master race, and I haven't searched for a replacement program yet.
It's just that I get anxious as **** , playing the same **** over and over, when director working with other players you can't practice yourself, and the music usually sucks. I did have some damn good fun at Tech's trombone ensemble, where we had like ******* 25 bones and played some fine ass music, but I still felt the same overall. I dunno, it's just how I am.
Here's a link to that. I'm the guy in the blue plaid collared shirt in the pictures in the second half. Video is probably still encoding but give it time.

Also here's All Star and Starman for trombone as well.

Love your arrangements... You've earned my sub.
Anyways yeah I get that bro. I've always loved it but at the same time I kinda have had the doubtful moments too in the past. It says the video that has you in it is private tho.

But anyways if you're interested, here's a video montage of our marching band at a football game a couple weeks ago. I can be seen a couple times throughout but specifically at around 3:07 on the bass drum www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgd7h16ME1M
And then here's a piece I've been transcribing by ear... If you play RuneScape you should recognize it as the track Medieval II: www.noteflight.com/scores/view/25c647ff970a1cb77ebfa35f779ec0f2001c952b
Dude, I just have to come in here and say that piece sounds awesome as **** . Sounds just right, and it's funny that I actually started playing Old School Runescape like two days ago for some childhood nostalgia. I really have underestimated the music in RS since I came back and listened to it. I should probably do a cover of one I like when I get back to school next week in music production class.
Anyways, awesome bro.

Why thank you. I've spent quite a bit of time on it so far. Glad you like it!
Ye, the free version is harshly limited though. But on the plus side the full version is only $30/yr

Anybody else pointed out the extra fitting nature of LP's album being called "Hybrid Theory"?
