If the webm is simple like this one attached, then it's dank
If it's like the one you just posted where it's long and heavily edited (think YTPMV), then it's dope. For example, pretty much every Gabe the Dog webm is qualifies more as dope than dank.

While I might not like it myself, anime / Japanese webms can be dank too, but they still have to be funny. If it's like >>#73 and there's no funny, then it's rank or something.

I don't think i've really explained the difference beyond putting the qualities in their respective channels' descriptions, I haven't really expected anyone to understand the difference yet.

Check the gdoc in the description and go through some posts from each category, and that should help you master the understanding of what is what.

***** go look at my profile and look at the content I posted in 2014. Only like 1 post hit front page and it was a repost from something I saved from 2013. But I just kept on posting **** until I had a eureka moment and posted a webm comp, and called it dank for some reason

My highest ranking post was a repost of satw.com and it didn't even got to front page I believe. I try my hardest to come with new ideas, and I thought I had a good one with the dank music comp, I even made mp4 versions for it, but yet, It got burried under the crapton of reposts.
