Although it is explicitly said in the title, it's NOT SOUL EATER. It's NOT the original cast and story we all knew.
It's the same universe from the original cast with a few cameos, but it mostly centers around new characters and conflicts in the timeline of the original. Basically, Soul Eater in the eyes of people who weren't the main characters, but at the same time, it ain't Soul Eater man.

Soul Eater was it's own universe with it's own cast.
Soul Eater NOT was the same universe, but a different cast to play the main characters.
The issue is that TT GO and TT Share the same universe, and the same main cast of 5, so that's why everyone is getting pissy.
If it was the same universe, but maybe a different cast of characters, they wouldn't have gotten mad. The other TT members beyond the original 5 were never fully fleshed out -Such as Aqua Lad and the others part of his team-, so they would have been perfect for a cutesy little joke show. But the main 5 appeared in basically almost every episode of the show, they went through character development and had solidified how they were as a character. TT GO didn't respect back and threw all that character development out the window.

But i mean..you can't just stay mad..Are you still mad at what ubisoft did when assassins creed french toast was relased on PC? sure it sucked for a while but that changed. maybe you just gotta grow into the show. Maybe it was better than because of nostalgia i dunno man i only watched both of these shows thrice. DBZ for example is still good for some people because there are alot of people who say that it's good
>French toast
jfc you got me there.
I saw TT Go back when it first started, I honestly did not like it one bit, even if I watched it without my nostalgia bias. Decided to watch a recent episode, and I didn't even find anything good about it still. Maybe my taste in shows might just be like that, but hey. Sure I like cuddly cutesy cartoon characters, but the show can't be nothing but jokes man, even Sesame Street touches on some subjects for kids to think about.

I don't like Teen Titans Go! but I do like Teen Titans. Not because it's different, thats a good way to be a hypocrite. But because it doesnt interest my type of humor.

stonetomcat (10/22/2015) [-] I think that's pretty much the reason the internet hates it, actually.
I don't really loathe it for the ****** jokes, as they're catering to a whole new audience. However, I hate it because it pumped me up for that **** . "Oh hell yeah, a Teen Titans reboot? There's no way they can **** this up!"
It's not bad, but they pumped us up for mediocrity.

i would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that almost anything new on channels for "grown ups" that comes out sucks
Why do you people feel the need for tumbler comments to be in videos? WTF
I feel like most people missed who this show is targeting. It's astoundingly apparent to me that Teen Titans Go is built to target young children, kids who aren't even close to their teens yet. That's what Cartoon Network wanted, and in that demographic the show is doing perfectly fine. The issue is the demographics from the previous show essentially 'infecting' the new one. What people have to realize is that the two shows have nothing to do with each other, other than the character cast (and even the voices, which is cool) being the same.
The previous demographic targeted older children, pre-teens, and even teens. The show was centered around the Teen Titans to make them relate-able to the younger audience, particularly Teens. Since that show has run it's course (5 whole seasons) it's time for the other demographics Cartoon Network has to get a share.
Did I like the old Teen Titans?
Yep.
Am I butthurt about a show that has nothing to do with the previous one?
Nope.
I really don't understand what people were expecting when the beginning details of the show were announced. I remember my ex saw this show be announced and got so excited. And even years ago, before the show was even out I warned her (and others) telling them "I bet the show is going to be targeted at, and for younger kids and we won't like it."
The worst part is, the show isn't even poorly written. It just has to fall into what works. You guys have to take a look at what shows have worked on Cartoon Network in recent years, and what ones have not. The original Teen Titans likely suffered from this, but unless a show is packed with like dumb violence (just people slapping each other and doing dumb **** ) and low-level humor; the show inevitably fails.
So rather than be canceled in the first two seasons, I think the show's creators simply chose to fall into the fold of what Cartoon Network has become.
Is it sad?
Yes.
Should we bitch about the new show every time it's brought up?
No.

Well... We are the internet. If we really want a reboot of the original Teen Titans show, we have the technology to essentially "force" them to make another one. If we like, spam hashtags and make petitions and **** , they might actually do it. Instead, we're sitting here watching this video, wishing somebody else would do something.

Teen Titans Go! is a good show for what it sets out to be - a light kid's comedy show. But it's self-aware enough and has enough references and "adult" jokes that fly over kid's heads that everybody who gives it a chance will find something to chuckle about, even if the good-jokes-to-potty-humor ratio is staggering. The only ones bitching about it are butthurt fans of the original who can't let go.
Teen titans go is ******* hilarious
people need to realize its not the same show and get over it

Saw Teen Titans Go on TV, got excited thinking it was brought back after so long. Turned to channel, instantly pissed. What a step backwards in animation.
I think that one character is just a reference to critics of Teen Titans go. I know they did that to a youtube reviewer, Mr Enter.
The dude who was in their TV was a villain in the original Teen Titans. I don't remember his name, but he wasn't made up as a parody of viewers for Teen Titans Go.
I should have said his dialogue.
His dialogue is similar to criticisms of the show.

I think I remember reading on the Teen Titans Wiki that each season was about a certain Titan, and the final season was about Beast Boy. Also the final episode was about Beast Boy letting go of his past and going into the future.
Of course I don't remember the whole episode so I can't say much about it, but that's my 2 cents.

Wow....well THAT was a blatant 4th wall-breaking moment in TV.... Like, I'm shocked
