yes because at no point in the trailer does he talk about his loved ones and how he may be doing it for them
No one advertises the dramatic side of superhero movies. They always show the explosions and badassery. Like the Batman v Superman movie. The trailers make it look like it's gonna be an amazing final showdown. I'm willing to bet my left testicle that the actual movie is going to be more talking and philosophical ******** than action.
I'm sure there will be a dramatic and meaningful side to the movie, but it makes sense that they would show more of the action and humor in the first trailer.
Well, yeah. You know why he looks like that?
It's cancer. Literally.

Well, yeah. The guy basically has military grade cancer.
It's cool that we have a Deadpool movie, but Ryan Reynolds is a horrible fit for the role. I think Jackie Earle Haley, the guy who played Freddy Krueger and Rorshack is way more suited for the role.
Hell, even ************* Ben Affleck or Neil Patrick Harris are better candidates for Deadpool than Ryan Reynolds.

None of those actors are as improvisational or spontaneous as Deadpool must be.

> inb4 red thumbs speak for themselves
Red thumbs only mean that some people don't agree with me and that's perfectly fine.
Ryan Reynolds doesn't have and probably cannot immitate that neurotic behaviour that Deadpool should have and that's why I think Earle Haley would have been better - almost his entire career is based on neurotic characters and he has that cancer patient looks.

and why would heath Ledger be any better? sure he improvised a couple of parts in the dark knight but all around he was a **** joker.
but hey lets not forget no matter how much we disagree on who was a better joker we can all agree leto's joker is gonna be **** on a stick
I think Jack Nicholson channeled a pretty good Heath ledger at the end of batman by dying.

no. deadpool is a guy that was dying of cancer and the weaponX program gave him regeneration on a level higher than wolverines except his cancer was also affected and so his body is basically a cancerous mass that is regenerating into an even more cancerous mass.

looks pretty gorey for a marvel movie. makes me wonder if itll be rated R instead of their usual pg13 (if it shows it in the trailer i completely missed it)
Jesus man, sorry I don't know what red band is. I guess I live under a rock. Thanks for pointing out that you're so much smarter than me. My stupid brain told me that ever Marvel movie I've seen so far was rated pg13 so I thought a shift to R would be weird.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure they just added all the swearing just so people will finally get the message that it's gonna be rated R. Sure, Deadpool swears like a ************ , but he doesn't swear THAT much.
only heard him swear once in the trailer
i heard more swearing from dmx rapping

Yeah, being the ******* that I am, I commented before watching the video. In the Comic Con version of the trailer, there was a lot more swearing, like calling Colossus a chrome cockgobbler. Also, the part with the strip club had Stan Lee as the host saying "Give it up for CHESTINY!" as a stripper comes out. Guess they removed that part, so the fans can try to find his cameo in the movie on their own.
I know part of the appeal of Deadpool is that he is funny. But At the same time I feel like they might really overdo the whole comedian superhero thing and it's going to come out cheesy as balls.
That said, I can't wait to finally watch a comic book movie that treats me like an adult. The Avengers became trash so fast. Guardians was somewhere in the middle.
IMHO

I'm really hoping this movie is going to be good. At the least they got Ryan Reynolds playing the right part (Same one as X-Men Origins: Wolverine), unlike Green Lantern.

I got to watch a longer version at Comic Con, then turn around and high five Rob Liefeld. It was a good day.
