i thought he got his powers from a curse or something, not from an experiment..
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn8ZqX82neg these guys go and explain Deadpool's background pretty well. Should answer any questions you have.
Got healing from the canadian government. Got inability to be permanently killed from Thanos.
comicsexplains or comicexplain, don't know which.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but I'm sure that deadpool got his powers by the weapon x people trying to copy wolverine's healing factor using his dna or something. It mixed wrong with all his cancer, so he looks horrifically ****** up, and it also went to his brain making him the cooky crazy yahoo we know today.

He did indeed get his powers from an 'experiment'! However, a certain big bad boosted his powers to immortality, due to his and Deaths courtship!
It's from both. He received his actual powers from project x, the rejuvenation/reflexes, all that fun stuff. The curse came along after he fell in love with lady death, who Thanos also had a hardon for, so he cursed deadpool to live without dying so he could never see her again.
Might be off, it's been awhile.

Thank god it's rated R so no little kiddies are gonna be next to me in the theater
It'll be alright as long as they avoid the "Le Chimichangas and Randomz" Deadpool.
Your tone implies that it's a bad thing, but all I'm seeing is positives.
HAAAAAAA when he said "dont make the suit green, or animated." he was referencing the green lantern suit! I didn't even catch that until now.
Idk I feel mixed over this trailer. The gross face wasn't that gross I was hoping for a more melted appearance and his voice didn't feel perfect for it.
To be fair, if they went with a more authentic look, putting on the make up would take about 15 hours every day.
A lot of people are gonna go see it anyway. Deadpool is absurdly popular right now.
I dunno how I feel about it. I mean, it's cool that they have the license to make a proper Deadpool film, but the trailer didn't really make me laugh. I really hope that wasn't their best material, or that maybe the jokes work better in the context of the movie. As it stands, I have little interest in this.

The bulk of the trailer was just a recreation of the leaked test footage. Then there were T.J Miller's jokes at the end, which were pretty weak. I got the impression they were taken from a situation where they record loads of different jokes for that scenario to see what works, and then cut most of them.
What I took from this is that they are holding back most of the funny content from the trailer. Rhet Reese's Zombieland, Monsters Inc writing combined with guys like TJ Miller Decent Stand Up Comic, knows comedy for sure and Reynolds Knows Deadpool's charachter like the back of his dick means I have no doubts this will be a very funny film.
TL;DR It's looking good folks!

That's definitely good news, thanks! I'm definitely going to end up seeing it at some point pretty much no matter what, so I'm glad to hear that the behind-the-scenes stuff is on track.

your comment is offensive because it keeps allowing comic book movies to be mediocre while always "hoping " it will be good.
just because they reference **** doesn't mean it's a good movie

it's not stupid it's just predictable. i'm talking more strategically. if you're tired of having that feeling of "god don't screw it up" rather than knowing it will be good you gotta send a message. but hollywood knows they don't have to try. you're going for names not quality
i mean by money. execs dont give a **** about your opinion. as long as you pay. people tend to think saying something like "it better not suck or i'll never watch again" means something. it doesn't
to be deadpool is basically how it is when you are invincible in a shooter game after a bonus upgrade or at least take extremely little damage
Filmed in my back yard. I saw Deadpool walking across the Georgia St viaduct earlier this year. Soo cool.
That guy is wearing brown pants. He got the right idea.
