Lemme get this straight
You play a currier
who got shot in the head, and then came back to life
and then hunted the guy who shot him in the face across the whole ******* mojave
and in the end decides the pace of war
And you want to tell me that guy is sane?

These are the basic plotlines, if you want an indeepth analyse of the curiers mental state do it yourself. The fact that he went from one end of the mojave to the other just to get revenge while either wrecking havok on his way or beind a saint saviour is enough for me to assume that he is completly insane.

Because you need to submit to the greatnes of Technologie?
If you suck so bad at Fallout New Vegas that you actually need to bump stats, you're beyond help

I'd like to see how well you can aim your AMR after the YCS distributes parts your brain across the wasteland.

No problem mate. I'm just spreading the truth. That mod was the best thing that could have happened to both Fallout games imo. Rekindled my interest in the game by a considerable amount of playthroughs.
The real MVPs are the modders who made it and those who convert FO3 and FNV mods for it.

Only thing I don't like about it (and the modders can't really do anything about this) is there's too much xp imo. Fallout 3 was never meant to go above level 30 and the leveling means you're going to end up doing a bunch of lower-leveled quests, either in the capital wasteland or mojave, ridiculously overleveled, which is fine for some, but can make it boring when you're one-shotting everyone.
Yeah. Starting New Vegas at around level 30 can be a bit OP at times, which is why I don't recommend TTW as a first FO3 playthrough. It doesn't bother me that much since neither Fallout 3 or New Vegas were particularly tough games. Then again I'm still fond of the mod that makes the Khans loot the stuff you've brought from DC after Benny shoots you in the head and stores it near them in Boulder City. It gives you a less overpowered feel at the beginning of the game as you can't go around killing powder gangers with your gauss rifle and BoS power armor anymore.
Yea, I went to Vegas fairly early. I dumped most of my **** in Novac safehouse and just picked up what I found in the Mojave mostly. I never really carry more than one suit of armour because it ***** with my RP mind and I try to limit the amount of guns I carry too.
Almost Perfect is ******* OP though.

Oh man, I avoid that perk almost as much as I avoid Cazadore swarms.
Tried it once + 5x intensive training. Woosh, character personality out the window. I like my PC to have strong and weak points.

Mary Sue creator. That plus medical clinic implants, 10 stats all round.
The more specialised you are, the more challenging, and therefore interesting, the game is. I also limit myself somewhat by using only light armour/clothing.
Played through the game using mostly Benny's suit/first recon beret. ******* dank bro.

Sounds interesting, although I use the merc clothes quite often, however I don't think I could go the whole game with just those. I just can't get over how ******* awesome the T45-d and the Veteran Ranger armor look.
I just can't stop wearing Joshua Graham's, it's my favourite armour in the game.
I don't really like armour that lowers stats in any way, so I never used T45d.
Remnants looks sick tho, that fan on the back.

It's the YCS with a Sneak critical, your argument is invalid.

Yeah, getting Elijah's LAER and putting all of the WMX mods on creates probably the most OP gun in fallout, besides like Euclid's C finder and giving yourself infinite ammo in the console.
Or an automatic MIRV that fires a volley of 10 mininukes every tenth of a second.
It crashed my computer. GECK, not even once.

Since you're ok with mods, if you have FO3 too, get Tale of Two Wastelands and it's WMX patch then travel to the Pitt and do that ****** steel ingot quest to get the Metal Blaster, mod it, and build for crits. One-hitting Deathclaws everyday. Otherwise the Tri-Beam laser rifle does a fine job too.
I played FO3 with those mods but never did that, I think I'll try that when I get my computer working again (it died last Wednesday on an unrelated note), and when FO3 isn't too busy crashing every 10 minutes. Yes, I installed the unofficial patches or bug fixes, but it still doesn't work reliably.
Yeah I've heard lots of people get issues with FO3 on newer systems. However Tale of Two Wastelands is a mod that ports all of FO3's content to Fallout New Vegas. Takes some fuss to install but it's pretty great since it lets you play FO3 with all of FNV's new stuff. This also means you won't have to deal with FO3's crashes because technically you'll be playing New Vegas.
Don't mind this comment, just sending a notification to the guy who actually had crash problems.

I had seen that before but never looked into it; now that I know what it is, I'll definitely be downloading it. Thanks man!
Now I won't have to spend an hour trying to get through the Jefferson memorial when the Enclave arrive (it really liked to crash there for whatever reason )

That's why you play through the first time. When ever you play I game ,I think, The first playthrough is always like a trial run. It's just a fun run that you do to learn the game have fun and see what's needed and what isn't. The second and oneward playthrough would be like the main run or the run where you know what you need, know what you want to do, and know how you're gonna do and ever playthrough after is more like tweaking it or just trying new and different things. I find that it's ok to use the wiki if you have played the game through at the very least one time.
Yeah, but walking around Fallout 1 dying and not knowing where the **** to go isn't fun.
**** them I dont want to spend god-knows how long looking for a pressure cooker, or get tripped up by a bug and have to go back hours.

I thought Fallout 3 was incredible. But no one seems to give a **** about it. Guess I should try New Vegas sometime.
Both are good, but I also see Fallout 3 as the epitome of the series.
Both have their merits, but I love games with strong atmosphere and I just liked New Vegas' a bit more. Mostly because there were less things in my way when I was exploring. I still go back to 3 from time to time though.
Hey OP, if you haven't heard already, posting your OC comics in the oc-comics-channel will get you a bit more attention when you first post these! Awesome work, by the way.
Nice. I like the art style.
I'd enjoy seeing more like it, on the same topic or a different one, whichever you prefer.

I haven't played Fallout, so there's probably something here that I'm missing that completes the joke.
Can someone fill me in?
Can someone fill me in?
If I'm not mistaken he just walks up and says, "did you see that **** !?!?! Crazy bitch tried killing me!" Or something on the lines of that. And then he has three or more star bottle caps on him. So you end up just pick pocketing his ass or shooting him. Sorry if I didn't get it right. But haven't played this amazing **** since the great tragedy happened... *started lagging horribly and didn't win goty*
I think more games should do like Divinity 2 (and presumably Original Sin, I never got too far into that one) where loot and quest rewards are randomized.
i dont think the loot was randomized in divinity 2, at least not until towards the end. every time i started new, i knew where the thing i wanted to get was... Now Dragon's Dogma on the other hand, there's some RNG with that game that was kinda enjoyable.
ive heard that about the story. i however liked the story, i just wish it was longer.
