This makes me mad

I burn 3500 calories a day sitting still. I'm 6'3" and 192 lbs. I do a lot of cycling, and on those days I have to consume upwards of 4500-5500 calories depending on miles, speed.

Some of my friends consume much less calories than I do, and they're ****** fat. I eat donuts at bed time, drink like a fish and don't gain a pound.

I hate fat people like this who just make up excuses and blame everything but themselves for being fat. Poor diet, lack of exercise is why you're fat. Now ******* accept it and do something about it if it bothers you so much.

Sure, maybe there is a genetic predisposition to overeating or maybe it's just cultural, but the same can be said of alcoholism too. My dad is the first male on both sides of my family to reach 55. The last generation was wiped out by cirrhosis, liver cancer, kidney failure, a DT-induced aneurysm, and driving into a tree at 70 mph, all related to massive amounts of booze consumed. What did he do to change his fate? Surely he just doesn't drink, right? No, he just watches what he drinks. No liquor unless it's a special occasion and no more than a six-pack per day, though that's still only for special occasions. He noticed he had those same tendencies as those before him as well and instead of accepting his "fate" and dying before his sons graduated, he took responsibility for his actions and did something about it.

It's no different for the obese. You can't be expected to give up food completely, but if you want to live a healthy life you need to eat something that isn't a triple Baconator. And instead of spending your time going to talk shows to bitch about how hard it is to be fat, use it to go for a walk.

I'm tired of hearing fat people say they can't lose weight because "exercise is hard".

But I'm also tired of guys saying they can't gain weight because they "eat a ton". You don't eat enough. If you actually counted your calories, ate the right foods, wrote everything down to make sure you were getting what your body needed, and then you didn't gain any weight after 3 months, you would be a genetic anomoly.

I was 150 lbs at 6'3. I started hitting the weights hard to no avail. I said I "ate a ton" and refused to believe my diet was the issue. Then I decided to count calories just to see, because I had nearly given up. I was only eating 2500 calories a day if I was lucky. I simply ate different, healthier, foods, and added in protein shakes with every meal to equal about 4500 calories a day. And I've gained 40 lbs in about 9 months. It can be done, its just that like the fat people, you don't want to admit your own faults and mistakes to yourself.

Look at your issue from all angles before you declare yourself incapable of gaining or losing weight.

These kind of fat people piss me off. I weigh 280 ******* pounds and im 6'1", I get out and ******* run and lift 4 miles everyday, a 300lbs bench and 540lbs squat everyday in order to get this fat to go away. Yes, it's ******* hard. No, I don't sit arround complain about how hard it is. I get up every morning knowing I'm doing a **** ton better than every other unmotivated fat ass out there and it sickens me that they can't put out the motivation to lose the weight they try to rationalize as ok but boils down to they can't get their asses of the couch to get rid of it like they really want.

Some people have a harder time losing weight due to thyroid problems though. It's not impossible, it's just a lot harder than for the average person, and consider how much the average person does to lose weight

That video, the way it pisses me off...

Those people are the reason I am working to lose my 80-90 pound excess weight.

I will be DAMNED if I turn into one of those... those ridiculous moocows who are LYING, outright LYING to themselves and making themselves feel better about being the way you are

It's great that you're happy but accept the fact that you are doing massive damage to your body BEFORE going to these things. Admit you have a problem first before you decide if you can live with it. And if you can, that's fine, but don't sit there and tell the world you're perfectly healthy and exercise everyday. Don't go saying being thin is bad, or that you're a victim of society. No, you're a victim of your own lazyness and it is YOUR fault that you're fat, not genetics, because genetics DOES NOT turn you into a simmering pile of pigfat. Husky maybe, bulky, but not a glob of mucus someone hacked up onto the sidewalk.

That comes from years of denial, of saying it's too hard to work out so you won't, or saying there's no point in working out because you won't lose that much weight, at the rate you're going even five pounds off is going to benefit you.

Put down the ******* ice cream. Go for a walk. Just a walk and work up to a run. Eat an apple.Eat as much protein as you can so you don't dive facefirst into that swimming pool of empty calories you call a treat. I will personally have you write down everything you've eaten in a week to show you the RIDICULOUS amount of food you're eating. I will show you that it's cheaper and easier, not to mention saner and logical, to put that ******* fork down or put it into a salad for once.

What you are doing belongs on my strange addiction. What you are doing is an addiction that is hurting you as much as smoking. At least smokers don't deny its destroying their lungs.

IT'S NOT THAT ******* HARD TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT IF YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT.

Stupid moocows.

my sister's friend has been one of the most active people i know for as long as i can remember. She eats right and doesn't spend much time just sitting around, but she has always been a very large girl. she's the rare 1 in 1001446 fat people that actually just cant lose weight The rest of y'all are just some lazy ***** I can say that because i'm a fat lazy **** too
User avatar #129 - teevee (06/19/2014) [-]
Even if fat is genetic; that's a problem, not an excuse. I could just say that it's okay for me to kill people because I have mental issues, when that's just a ****** situation that I have to deal with, not justify.

The thing about exercise is that the more you do it the easier it gets.
