Do you mean Darth Nihilus? The guy in the long black robes with the creepy mask, who just kinda makes echoes as a voice?

Mhmm. He was one of the bosses and main Antagonists in the second game and also featured in a novel and a few comics.

His back-story is actually pretty interesting, as he was one of the Jedi during the final battle at Malechor 5 (with Revan against the Mandelorians) and when the Shadow-Field Generator activated and ripped the planet apart, there was just something about his make-up that allowed him to survive because he fed off the life-force of those around him. This gave him the passive ability to drain others of their force and life and make him more powerful, but with growing power he also grew more 'hungry' (in a literal way, as he felt completely empty and suffered symptoms of starvation without it), and so came to be known as Darth Nihilus (derived from "Nihilist" because of his fatal connection to the force and all life), Lord of Hunger.

His force powers and Saber skills were actually pretty average, his strength came from the fact that he was a LITERAL black hole, a wound in the universe and the force itself and absorbed everything around him. Just being in his presence killed you, and so his ship was a degraded flagship and he was served by legions of dead soldiers. After a while he became a creature of pure instinct, with absolutely no good left within him (after he saved a young force-sensitive to become his apprentice). And when he chose to 'actively' focus on his powers, he could drain entire planets of life, absorbing them all into himself.

It's a shame; the second game was really rushed and so he was nowhere near as awesome as he could have been. Even so, he was still pretty tough and the only reason you were able to kill him at all is because The Exile could separate herself from the Force, and he was weakened from draining a planet that really wasn't strong in the force (Telos). Otherwise, no one could have beaten him.

hmm what i recall he once willed his space ship to fly to another solar system simply by using force(even thou the ship itself was already broken beyond repair) or was that palpatine who did that???dunno they both had some pretty crazy force feats

That was Darth Nihilus, it was part of a cutscene. The entire ship was broken apart and exposed to the vacuum of space. He was the life-support (ironically), the gravity, the propulsion, the weapons, the repair, the everything. It all worked because he willed it to.

Revan was captured, after going into deep space at the end of Kotor, by the sith emperor he sought to protect the people from with the star forge. Kept alive for either 200 or 300 years by being linked to the emperor, he used the link to prevent the sith empire attacking while the republic rebuilt from Malak's assault. you can see him in one of the SWTOR dungeons, i think you free him or some ****, i never got that far.

Actually I'm pretty sure that Revan was trained as a child normally to be a Jedi, and then all that crazy **** happened and was retrained.

Didn't spoil it but if you haven't played it already what the **** really. seriously what the ****.

He was. He was trained as a kid, and then retrained as an adult.
So it's not DARTH Revan as the article says, but just Revan was retrained as an adult.

well, there are a number of canon conflicts in the games, and a fair amount which is left down to game mechanics. plus, they're currently redeciding what is and isn't canon, going through literally everything, so there's a potential for it to go either way.
