Anakin fell to the dark side and came back to light by killing Darth Sidious. Get your facts straight dude

It was a typo. Read the comments, dude.

He's a good guy.

"The only Jedi to fall to the dark side and return to light"
Didn't Darth Vader sort of do that when he killed the emperor to save Luke?
Or does that not count since it was really last minute and he died like, 5 minutes later.

Darth Vader , begins as a padawan, then moves to the dark side, then in return of the jedi, makes peace with the light side before he dies. Revan is not the only jedi to go from light to dark back to light. Not even in extended universe.

Didn't Luke Skywalker also come back from the Dark Side? I thought there was a thing with him training with the Emperor but then overcoming the Darkness within him?

(Actually, for that matter, didn't Anakin Skywalker also technically come back from the Dark Side?)

He didn't so much as return to the light as show that he wasn't completely gone. Granted he saved his son but it was his SON for ****** sake. Other sith lords have shown love for their children before.

Only Jedi that fell to the dark and came back?
Kyp Duron, Quinlan Vos, Gantoris, Tahiri, Reynar Thul, Kyle Katarn, Aayla Secura, Sylvar and LUKE SKYWALKER.
and that's just on top of my head.

In the Dark Empire its explicitly said he fell and only his love for his sister and friends saved him.

Most powerful and influential Jedi in hostory.

Hint for future comps: check for typos.

Making exceptions didn't work out all that well for the Jedi Order
User avatar #382 - baitman (03/04/2014) [+] (5 replies)
So is he some sort of neutral jedi/sith of balance?
User avatar #412 to #382 - captainfuckitall (03/04/2014) [-]
Well he's still a Jedi and is fiercely loyal to the Republic. He holds respect for both the philosophies of the Sith and Jedi, and understands the time and places where one is needed more than the other, but still considers himself a Jedi over-all.

psychadelicace I'm just curios where you get these characters from, cause I'm pretty sure he wasn't in the films. Is there comic books or something?
User avatar #264 - Kaelus (03/04/2014) [+] (1 reply)
I really enjoy this post, as Revan is one of my favourite Jedi, but I don't believe the second last one is true. Plenty of recorded Jedi fell to the dark side then returned to the light...

So i guess he beat the rule "Once you go black you never go back"
User avatar #204 - mrnpc (03/04/2014) [+] (1 reply)
Revan isn't the only fallen Jedi that was redeemed. Both Luke and Anakin Skywalker did the same thing (though Anakin is up for debate).

Aw **** I've been credited for the first time I'd like to thank psychadelicace for holding up his word as well as responding promptly as well as listening to my suggestion. My sources were the book mentioned in comment 133 by bronyzord (finished the book same day I got it and it contains spoilers if you didn't play the KOTOR games) and of course the star wars wiki. Thanks again.
User avatar #74 - avatardsucks (03/04/2014) [+] (3 replies)
wow i still remember the way star wars was when the original trilogy came out, that was before the prequels and games expanded the universe with all this hard to follow non-sense.
User avatar #87 to #74 - huntergriff ONLINE (03/04/2014) [-]
It's not hard to follow, you just gotta play a few games and read a few comics then the movies...then more books and more comics
