Okay so I'm totally okay with people eating meat

But for some reason, the thought disgusts me, when I get down to it
I don't even like the word. It just sounds... gross. But at the same time, I don't care. I don't consider myself a vegetarian. At least I don't think I do... But for some reason the thought of consuming.... that, just makes me feel wrong
Does anybody else feel like that?

NOBODY CARES

He said, as he chewed his prime rib, coated with a sugary, honey bbq glaze.

I live at the coast in Norway, and eat a lot of fish. I also eat a lot of red meat. And if I don't have any form of meat in 24 hours, I literally feel sick. I guess it's probably because my body is used to a lot of meat.

you dont appreciate meat until youve killed the animal and ripped the meat from the carcass.

Fun fact. you can eat fat right off of the carcass. parasites dont live in fat.

Jesus Christ even someone without whatever problem I have would react poorly to that comment

Not if you've done it before. I personally don't eat the fat like that, but I know a person who uses it in cooking.

I respect your dedication and all, and like I said, I didn't mean to be rude
I think that the social evolution of European and American life has evolved differently in different places
For example, when I go to Berlin, meat is a huge thing. Sausages, mostly. But I've noticed that a lot of that mean-culture, for lack of a better description, has waned a bit, and other foods are becoming popular.
And American food is still very meat-centric in the country setting, but towns and cities are less focused on it as well.
And none of this is to say that either ideal is better or worse, it simply is

humans can eat everything, however, for survival we only need meat. people who eat meat only can stay healthy, but people who don't eat meat at all will have health issues. there are people living in the poles where they can only eat meat, they are as healthy as ever and they are doing that for generations.

best to eat meat with vegetables, however if you need to (for whatever ****** up reason) exclude one then it should be the latter, since it is not actually needed for survival

I've never eaten steak before, maybe a few bites from my dad's plate when we went to restaurants when I was little. When I see pictures of steak like this or see it on cooking shows it looks sooo good, but when I see it physically in front of me it looks gross.

I'm scared internet, what do I do?

Don't mind if people eat meat or not, their choice. But personally I feel and get sick if I don't eat proper meat within 24 hours. Probably because I eat a lot of meat in general. Visited my aunt and uncle in the US. For some reason we went several days without any proper meat, and I had a fever and couldn't sleep. Have happened in other occasions when I haven't had meat in a while as well.

I already know that some 12-year-old comedic "genius" is going to comment saying "spot" the Vegan, but I just want you to know that plenty of vegetarians/vegans are mature enough to see content they don't agree with, and just skip. To each their own.
