Your conversions are completly wrong. Youre saying -60 F (92 degrees below freezing) is equal to -60 C (60 below freezing). Thats just not right

After 4 days of -40c weather, Monday was 3c. Oh how warm I felt. I would've walked to work in a t-shirt if it wasn't pouring rain.

Those are the best days. The temperature will stay in the -30s and -40s and then you'll get those days where it might go as high as like 5C or something. It's like a heatwave lol, walking to school in shorts and t - shirts.

I'm from Canada... and we do have to drive with the windows down... because the side windows frost up, you can't see perpendicular traffic.

And it reached -53.0 C (-63.4 F) with the wind chill in Manitoba a couple days ago... colder than the North Pole, and colder than MARS. Google it! ;)

www.universetoday.com/14705/how-cold-is-mars/ Might have been on the day it was colder but this is what i found. Also Alberta is just weird its +2 when it should be -30 but im not complaining!

Actually, because of the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle (ΔxΔp ≥ h/2π) atomic motion does not stope, even at absolute zero. (Thats because the Principle states that the more accurately we know the location of a particle, the less we know its momentum, and if they stopped moving we could know the exact location and momentum(0), of the particles. Therofore, particles have to vibrate, at least minimally, in order not to break the laws of quantum physics)
#128 to #127 - xxxsonic fanxxx (01/09/2014) [-]
Sorry, the prinicple is ΔxΔpx ≥ h/4π

About 50 F here in Houston, got to about 19 F two days ago. Coldest winter in Houston ever.
Houston Texas winter is a four day event. We have a huge festival where everyone dresses up as an astronaut and rides their horses through town talking about the money they got from being the CEO of an oil company.
If you don't know anything about Houston stereotypes you'll understand. Also Exxon is making a huge HQ here.

I've planted gardens in 10 degrees Celsius before. Since the weather was a lot colder just beforehand, 10 degrees suddenly feels very warm in comparison so you don't feel cold while doing so. The ground's thawed at that point, so there's nothing really stopping you.

(Oh, right. Canadian here. But I think that's a given, giving the content.)
