The gameboy picture one. I dont even, i honestly cannot comprehend what its trying to say. Was the gameboy originally Nintendos Janitor? Was the president the janitor? Did the president later have an illustrious career? Who was gameboy?
******* help.

The janitor made the gameboy and the president saw it, then the janitor had an illustrious career.

Janitor is president, president is career, and gameboy is president, but career is not janitor or gameboy.

Who knew that a lowly Gameboy working as a Janitor for Nintendo would someday become so illustrious.

The gambling one isn't necessarily true because Brazil will make exceptions if the production of the product is contracted within their country. They are playing hardball for corporate money by restricting their product through terrible tax loop holes to over price the hell out of products not manufactured in Brazil.

I remember when me n my brothers played mario party with those joysticks.

My eldest brother was doing that mini-game where you have to rotate it as fast as possible to power the lightbulb via the bicycle before Boo reaches you. Afterwards he looked at his hand and an entire layer of skin was separated from his palm, it was the most messed up thing to look at.

We always used our thumb to turn it from then on.

I thought the Nintendo lawsuit was going to go in a slightly different direction. I assumed they were being sued because of all the fights that broke out among friends and family because of Mario Party.
User avatar #114 to #78 - froggets (01/07/2014) [-]
You think Mario Party is ruining families?
Try making the family play New Super Mario Bros. Wii together, that **** makes people kill eachother

Nintendo also just got sued by a company for a camera Nintendo has been using on their 3DS without permission apparently... So now almost 2% of each 3DS sale goes to them instead of Nintendo, because Nintendo ****** this one up... They could just get rid of the camera...
User avatar #71 to #62 - zxmongoose (01/07/2014) [-]
The cameras on the 3DS are used for a number of things though. Like AR Games, and a lot of digital download games. I mean, it's not necessary to make games that use it or to include the cameras at all, but it's kind of nice to have that additional bit of flexibility on the system.

I'd actually rather District 9 than a Halo movie, but i dunno. If it was the same director, it might've been one of those game movies that wasn't a complete mess.
User avatar #113 to #48 - fargtwo (01/07/2014) [-]
I'm still hoping for something along the lines of the Landfall shorts that Bungie made to hype Halo 3. Those are fantastic.
User avatar #115 to #113 - adunsaveme (01/07/2014) [-]
They are, but risking a full plot for a full movie would probably end badly.
User avatar #50 to #48 - maplesyrupman (01/07/2014) [-]
That's what I was thinking. If a Halo movie was made with the same style as District 9, it could've had a nice gritty look on it.

Anybody else I feel like would make it look too cartoony.
User avatar #51 to #50 - adunsaveme (01/07/2014) [-]
Not sure if it would have been good though. When has a movie based on a game ever really worked out?
User avatar #84 to #51 - Yojimbo (01/07/2014) [-]
The Resident Evil series is still continuing and making more and more money every movie.

Don't get me wrong, they suck balls except the first . They can't even stay true to the previous movies and they steal whatever they want from the games as a cheap ploy to try and draw in fans.

But they make tons of money, so they are successful...kinda?
User avatar #86 to #84 - adunsaveme (01/07/2014) [-]
But they're bad movies. Successful or not. If it was a bad movie, I'd prefer District 9 over a Halo movie, even if the Halo one would be more successful. It wouldn't mean **** if it was bad.
User avatar #88 to #86 - Yojimbo (01/07/2014) [-]
Hey, I got nothing there. I was just talking about the Resi movies. They worked out well for the director and his wife who makes tons of money on them. And they worked out well for the people who actually enjoy those garbage ass films.
User avatar #90 to #88 - adunsaveme (01/07/2014) [-]
Doesn't work well for anyone who wants actual quality though.
