They're more of a pussy rather than a cunt.

Or perhaps a faguette?

If you go to france you will find that many of them are in fact cunts, especially in tourist areas.
User avatar #131 to #127 - toncheky (11/24/2013) [-]
I'll take your word for it since I've never been there.
User avatar #47 - vivalavidya (11/24/2013) [-]
Jokes aside, it's almost always used in a derogatory manner, more in the same vein as calling a black guy a ****** . That's why people don't like it.
User avatar #58 to #47 - roneffinswanson (11/24/2013) [-]
Now ****** is derogatory too?!
User avatar #67 to #58 - bootyman (11/24/2013) [-]
no, all the white kids in my school say it all the time!

someone from afghanistan wouldnt get mad if you called them an afghani....but someone from pakistan gets mad if you call them a paki

shows pakis are just uppity ******* looking to get mad at anything
User avatar #97 to #66 - ilikethisusername ONLINE (11/24/2013) [-]
its not because they are just bunch of " ******* looking to get mad at anything," its because people used to use it as an insult to pakistanis. just like africans were called negros as an insult and slowly the name negro started to mean black slaves. if you call someone with their nickname, they wont mind it but if u start using that nickname as in offense, then it'll obviously get serious.
User avatar #100 to #97 - konradkurze ONLINE (11/24/2013) [-]
well given that pakis are just indians who decided they didnt want to be part of india anymore...the one thing that stings them most is to refer to them as indians
User avatar #149 to #100 - ilikethisusername ONLINE (11/24/2013) [-]
I don't know man, I'm Pakistani, people have referred to me as Indians. i just corrected them as respectfully as i could be. but i get called arab the most. pakistanis wouldn't mind if you call them "desi" which means someone whos from Pakistan, India, or Bangladesh. Pakistanis/Indians/Bangladeshis love to call themselves desi's.
User avatar #160 to #149 - konradkurze ONLINE (11/25/2013) [-]
idk ive just known a few pakis that flip their **** if they get called indians....and vice versa a couple indians who flip if they get called pakis
User avatar #161 to #160 - ilikethisusername ONLINE (11/25/2013) [-]
well i guess it shows that nobody wants you to mistake them with their wrong origin.
User avatar #162 to #161 - konradkurze ONLINE (11/25/2013) [-]
but seriously, drawing a line in the dirt and saying those indians on that side of the border are not indians just because they are muslims?
thats pretty much pakistan

User avatar #163 to #162 - ilikethisusername ONLINE (11/25/2013) [-]
pakistanis just didn't went like "hey because we are muslims we deserve another country of our own".

a conflict erupted in india because of the british empire (i forgot what their fault was), and there was a huge civil war between hindus and muslims. otherwise muslims and hindus lived together without any civil wars having them separated. a truce was made between gandhi and muhammad ali jinnah (the founder of pakistan) until gandhi was assassinated and the civil war erupted again (something like this i dont remember clearly. i forgot the history of pakistan, i should feel ashamed). so when it erupted for the second time, muhammad ali jinnah migrated all the muslims to the other side and to make pakistan, there needed to be an independence between india and pakistan. after the independence was declared, muhammad ali jinnah was assassinated too.

that is also why august 14th is the independence day for pakistanis and august 15th is for indians. to celebrate the peace they achieved.

TL;DR, pakistanis didn't just create a line and said it was our land, there had to be a peace between two countries and it was won by two great leaders.
User avatar #164 to #163 - konradkurze ONLINE (11/25/2013) [-]
i can understand indians and pakis being happy about peace,...the part i disagree with is when indians do a little happy dance celebrating the end of the british empire

one time a bunch of indians at my friends work started gettign lal hyper celebrating 'india wining its freedom from the british"....till he looked at them and said "you didnt win anything, you sat on your asses for 200 years waiting, and only got free after WW2 when the brits we so bankrupt they couldnt afford to control you anymore....freedom by default is not a win"
User avatar #165 to #164 - ilikethisusername ONLINE (11/25/2013) [-]
yeah. i don't i just think it's stupid to have two countries being separated just because of different beliefs. i'm probably the only pakistani who thinks this.

Paki's are ugly anyway. Nobody cares about respecting you guys. Fellow brown guy here.
User avatar #43 - moosespoon **User deleted account** (11/24/2013) [-]
Joke aside, it's a derogatory term for anyone who is brown, used mainly by lower class British people on government support. That's what's wrong with it.
User avatar #98 to #43 - sairajayn (11/24/2013) [-]
Weird that I've heard many aussies and americans use the term then, eh?

I've got a friend who's a Paki and she called herself it, and didn't care at all when I called her one.

And whenever she went to visit family she'd say she was going to "Paki-Land" and it was amusing.
User avatar #118 - Mikeekidd (11/24/2013) [-]
I always thought the slur 'paki' comes from the days when Britain imported lots of middle eastern men to work the docks, and load, or 'pack' the ships. Hence packie. But obviously someone coined it for middle eastern people thinking it was meant for Pakistani people .

But French are frogs (and responsible for introducing the North American Bullfrog to Europe. A species that is slowly wiping out various species of amphibian on the continent).
Italians be wops (dunno where that comes from)
Britons (or I suppose if the Scotts are already labelled, I should say English) are Limeys thanks to the days of sailing.
Germans are Krauts or Gery (GERmanY)
Welsh are sheepshaggers.
