Based on this theory of slightly repelling atoms then the atoms in the air would rapidly expand out bodies due to the repulsion and we would not exist, due to gas fills what space it can. We do touch things and this theory is in reverse, the atoms of your body are attrcted to eachother, and they are attracted to the ground. Opposites attract and similars repel. This theory would only work if opposites didn't attract.

I was gonna make some snazzy joke about Star Wars and "Her vagina just felt the force of resistance." But is 2:57 a.m.

so, just do me a favor and think up a funny Star Wars Pun to go along with OP's content

You are actually touching things, because the resistance force of your atoms' electrons repelling objects when they're 10^-8 meters away from you is what we consider "touching" something.

Why do things stick onto us? Why does glue not push itself off of me when it's on the bottom of my hand?

He's probably attacking the girl for getting raped bcuz he wants to deny his own molestation. He obviously has some underlying issue with rape... and btw not many guys go to ****** prision for rape its soooo hard to prove and guys get away with it most of the time anyway. Nobody is ever on a womans side when it comes to rape...sooo sad

Electrons can still technically form interacting pairs if they have opposite spin.

my knowledge in physics is rusty so correct me if I'm wrong

Just asking how it works here, let's say if you poked yourself in the finger with a needle, enough to draw blood. Wouldn't atoms touch in that case? Or would the electrons just 'repel' in a way that the atoms/molecules move away from each other, causing a 'rip' or 'cut'?

those comments honestly disgust me
User avatar #46 - missrainbowdash (11/19/2013) [-]
this is bogus, basically everything is the force of it's resistance, it's still touching things with your things, just with force, not dots.
