The only games I've ever pirated were ones that I lost the discs to that I wanted to play again.

I'm currently in the process of entering into the entertainment industry as a special effects artist and every one of my teachers, and every one of my class mates, and every one I've ever met who works in the industry all pirate. Also every one I know who spends any significant amount of money on entertainment pirates half of it, the only people I've met who don't pirate stuff actually spend relatively little on Tv/videogames/books because their interests lay elsewhere such as fashion, food, sports, or outdoorsy things, the war on piracy is dead.

There are two sides in everything. In case of piracy the good thing is that entertainment is much more accessible to a common man and even the less known have a chance to be heard without millons of dollars put in marketing.

The bad side is that the less known still pretty much lose compared to the big money makers.

Because of inflation, ***** .

But I do agree with you, piracy's not a big deal for the movie industry.

That was the opening weekend. Not a whole lot of opportunity for pirating there.

Now this pisses me off, Hollywood is being destroyed because smaller, lower budget movies are never making their money back and become cost prohibitive to release. Of a movies release, generally 40% goes to the studio, 40 to advertising and distributor, and only 20 to theatre chain owner. You, asshole who pirates movies, is responsible for the decline of theater. You are the reason that the only things that anyone can see in theaters are comic book superhero movies, or sequels or any movie title that has generally familiar sounding name. So congratulations asshole, you have made everything released in cinemas a sterile environment thats meant to attract as many audiences as possible simply because hollywood doesn't make jack **** any more. Thanks cuntbag
