Firefox actually won Lifehacker's last browser tests in lowest CPU usage, and has consistently done so in the past. It's just about all it's good for anymore in terms of technical stuff.

As a long time user of firefox I finally jumped ship. It's just not the light weight lightening fast browser it once was. I ran some tests and my overall conclusion is Chrome is a way better browser these days.
