A few years back, me and my dad and a bunch of his friends went out hunting, one of em was a guy who collected and sold furs, especially goofy ones, and we shot a possum, he then boiled it in a pot over an open fire so he could simply pull the skin off the animal, and then he hung it in a tree by the tail. The next morning it was still alive, somehow having survied being shot with a shotgun, boiled for 10 minutes, and then skinned alive, having played dead the entire time.

It was a horrifying moment. I didn't like hunting anyways, I like shooting guns, but not a fan of actually killing things. Makes me not fit in round these parts.

They don't "play" dead. They go into a coma. The best way to prevent the animal's suffering: [Drain its blood + Break the neck] OR [Follow the Zombie Rule....Decapitation]

A friend of mine had a pet possum she rescued it... it was nice... kinda like a weird monkey-rat. Would climb all over the cage like a monkey.

North America has much more deadly mammals, Australia has deadlier reptiles, insects, and arachnids.

Our mammals are ******* harmless, it's why they're all going extinct

"Usually scary bugs and snakes hide under rocks, so it would make sense for them all to be in Australia since its under the Earth. Which is a big rock" - Karl Pilkington

I'm sorry, but in a fight between a Kodiak bear and a kangaroo, the bear will win. It's not that complicated.

Easy to spot a bear.

Not so easy to spot the extremely dangerous venomous spider in your shoe.

Yeah but spiders don't usually chase you at speeds of 30 mph for some distance.

because they don't need too. They'll drop from the ceiling on to your face while sleeping. Maybe even lay eggs in your mouth.
