i may be young, but i went to a concert with the queen. well.....kind of.....it was the royal variety show and most of the performances were a bit.....less than ideal but hell it was back when you could actually say "damn miley cyrus is hot" and not be stared at like you just shat yourself.

Got to see this beast live. They're not an older band, but still badass.

the Stones were playing ten minutes from my house, i would have seen them too if the cheapest tickets weren't 500 bucks a pop

I'm 15 years old and I have seen both ZZ Top and Iron Maiden. Some cool bands still play.

God damn it, you just reminded me that I'll never see Pink Floyd live.

(Yes I know David Gilmour and Roger Waters still do stuff, but it's not the same.)

Amazing music is still being made, it may be different. But most of it is just as good if not better.

I saw Dick Dale play last July, he sounded amazing but ran out of steam at the end when he played misirlou. It just left me pretty sad thinking of what he was able to do years ago. Gotta give him credit though, he's been going since '54, and he still sounded awesome. Proportionately one of the loudest musicians I've seen (pretty small venue).

I've seen a lot of more recent bands though, wish I could experience the best of both worlds I guess, like seeing these guys in their prime.

You can still see Queen. They still perform, just without Freddie Mercury.
